  1. Order by phone and looking forward to a Reuben and bread pudding from an Irish Pub. When I arrived to pickup my order, two employees behind the bar looked at me and just continued their conversation. Took quite a while for them to speak to me. Got to the house and the smoked tuna dip was just mush served with Saltines. The corned beef in the Reuben was stringy and tough and the rest of the the sandwich was tasteless. The bread pudding felt like it was microwaved, but did have a good sauce with it. The best part of the meal were the fresh potato chips. I have had much better Reubens in Mobile and did not spend $40 for a meal like I did on this one. I am sure dine in has a great atmosphere, but parking is horrible because there is no on site parking, only street in a tight residential area. Would not reccomend at all.

  2. What an amazing place with so much of Mobiles Irish love! Fun place that has a lot of live music and fun filled events all year around. We had the burgers and Po’boys (blackened) with the artichoke and spinach dip to start (absolutely KILLER). They have indoor and outdoor seating with road side parking. Definitely a place you want to try if you are looking for some good mobile food.

  3. Callaghan’s was recommended because I said to a couple that Briquettes has the best burger. I spoke with the bartender Cheryl who has been there for “it seems” since the 90s, she was friendly, attentive and ran the bar and floor all by her lonesome. You can tell she is a seasoned server/bartender as she moves with ease, purpose all whilst building rapport.
The burger was juicy, done to the temp requested, kept you coming back for more after each bite as the thick sliced bacon and fresh veggies blended with every chew. Constructively criticizing this gem would be to let the patty rest 60-90 seconds because the juices made the bottom half of the bun soggy on one side, which is what I ate first, 😂. This was a solid burger, it dripped so much it was I used a few napkins under it to keep the juices under control, I highly recommend. They have crisps (Welsh for potato chips), instead of fries, living up to their theme.
A cornucopia of photos are strewn over the walls with phrases thrown in here and there. You definitely feel the Irish vibe.
Parking is on the street and with it’s popularity, weekends will require a 2-3 block trek to this iconic bar.

  4. Just absolutely WOW! Tonight was our first time and definitely will not be our last! This place was awesome and the atmosphere was pretty chill and fun to observe! A man was singing live, and the staff was very friendly! The food was worth the wait, which was rather quicker than expected being it was pretty packed on a Friday at 630pm. The burgers was juicy, thick and the most delicious burgers by far, compared to any other burger I’ve ever tasted! This place it in a neighborhood, but it was easy to located and definitely worth giving it a shot, you definitely Will Not regret checking it out! Loved it and will be back again!!!

  5. Great meal! The server suggested their burgers and it did not disappoint. As for the side, I went with the suggested Pasta Salad and it was probably some of the best pasta salad I have tasted. Great service and food. They could use some better A/C but it felt like home.
