  1. Really love this community on the outside. Inside is cute but very dated. Please beware if renting a 2 bedroom, the leasing office will tell half truths about parking. You will not get 2 parking spots only 1 that is assigned and the other is first come first serve with only 4 open spots for many many units. You will never get one. Your only other option is street parking which isn’t very safe if coming home late at night. Seems like a minor issue but trust me the parking around this community is a nightmare. There are many other communities in the area to select from.. I wish the leasing office was honest with us.

  2. I called to inquire about 2 bedroom. Jennifer quoted me proces well over the website prices. Once she learned her quotes were out of my range, she tried to hang up in my face. I tried to talk to her about the website prices, she cut me off and said something to the effect of, yeah, those aren’t the prices, proceeds to end the call.

  3. Property management does not foster communicating with individual residents regarding any matters, specifically this time my complaint is with parking renovations. Do not live here if you expect to be cared for by the people and company who manage this property.

All maintenance employees are great people.

Management employees need to be better people.

  4. I live here and it’s horrible. We pay $2300 a month for a place to live, and our amenities don’t function properly. Want a hot tub, we have it, and it is dirty and they refuse to keep it clean and functioning properly. $25 a month to have a parking spot full of dirt and lot full of pot holes. Don’t live here . It’s horrible, and every girl in the leasing office talks down to you like you are the reason that things don’t work.

  5. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I had a terrible experience living at the Californian. They definitely lied on their disclosures. They have a really bad bug problem. Termites, fleas, and roaches sometimes.

My boyfriend caught one of the maintenance people peeking into our backyard as well. The property management team is very rude to their tenants and harassed my boyfriend and I a lot throughout our lease.

My boyfriends car got broken into at this property too. Which doesn’t make sense because they’re supposed to have a security guard/cameras.

My boyfriend and I asked what their plans were for us in February and they said there is no issues, but then before we we’re supposed to sign another lease, they told us our lease is terminated, and we have a month to figure out where to live. This was two days before my boyfriends birthday and it was really sad.

The property manager was emotionless during this process and clearly has no ethical or moral values. They should have told us in February when we asked.

Not to mention out of our $935 deposit they took $700. Which is 75% actually. At first they wanted $4,000 and I’m glad we didn’t do that. It’s obvious they just want us to pay for their remodeling. They told us already they were doing the inside and out. They were happy to gloat about it.

It’s sad how it’s easy for companies to commit fraud in California. We intend on taking this case to small claims. This entire situation is out of hand.

    RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!!
