I’m a college student here at Stan State and choosing California Auto Stereo for my new car stereo was the best decision. Mario fit me into his schedule right away, and my car was ready in a couple of hours. Mario is an expert at installing car stereos. Everything looks and sounds great. Very professional. He was very generous with his time, making sure everything was set up correctly. I’ll definitely be back.
If you’re looking for quality electrical auto work, sound systems, car alarms and more, look no further. My reviews are always based off of experience and this was a great one. My truck had an alarm and a remote start installed within 3 hours and for a price cheaper than ANY other stereo shop. The owner is extremely knowledgeable in this field, truly amazing. This is a family owned business which is why I went with California Auto Stereo. The owner has 25 years of experience in this field which also helped me make my choice. Do yourself a favor and bring your car, truck, boat, motorcycle or atv for your electrical needs here…you will not be disappointed.
Can’t rate any lower or I would. Took my truck there yesterday to hav my current stereo radio/NAV system replaced with a Pioneer 8000NEX. First I was told it would take 45 min but took two hours. There was nothing to do but unplug my Sony and plug in the Pioneer. Both radios fit in the s same place, and go through the on screen setup. After TWO HOURS the guy tried to charge me an additional $25.00 but I declined. Tried to backup and realized that the tech didn’t plug in the backup camera. The tech fumbled with it for half an hour till the owner came out to see what was up. The owner showed the tech where to plug in the camera and put the radio back in. Driving home I found that the NAV wasn’t working and there were several other issues. I thought maybe these issues were part of the user preferences and would go through it when I got home. Well I struggled for hours trying to make it work but couldn’t. I took it to another shop and the tech showed me an invisible place on the screen (shown by youtube video) where you press and hold for 15 seconds to get to NAV setup. This function is for techs no users! The tech took about 15 minutes and had my system working. I called the shop to let them know what I had to do but all I heard was the tech had been doing this for 30 years.
