It is a pleasure to live in this building. It is quiet, spacious; has a sense of community, always a neighbor available to help, good maintenance, and a delightful problem solving manager who approaches your problems as her own. If you are looking for hardwood floors well maintained, high ceilings, big windows, gas cooking, a joy for those of us who love to cook, updated bathrooms and a flower garden to spend a lazy afternoon, then come and join our beautiful community.
We love our apartment! It’s huge for a studio. The closet is the biggest ever: 44 square feet! We each use one side (it has two doors), and it’s like each having our own walk-in closet. All the doors, trim, floors (except kitchen and bathroom) and cabinets are glorious wood. Despite being right on University Ave, it’s remarkably quiet. On the third floor, the most noise we get is when it’s time to change the rooftop billboard (which doesn’t happen often).
The building is from the 1920s, so it is not ADA-compliant. There is a small elevator with an inner gate, like something out of film noir. Building is always clean and well maintained. Gorgeous central stairs, big wooden banisters, nice carpet, all regularly cleaned and maintained.
I lived here for two years with my girlfriend. We loved our apartment. We only moved because we needed a bigger place. The building is extremely well maintained and has a wonderful property manager on-site. I highly recommend living here.
I lived here for 5+ years and only moved to change cities. It is a charming place both in structure and people. All the neighbors are very nice, but the manager is outstanding!
