  1. Dishonest and incompetent. After installation of a full AC system, the compressor failed within warranty coverage period. It turns out that they failed to register the warranty with Carrier company. They refused to accept any responsibility. The replacement cost was over $3,000. I initiated a complaint against them through Better Business Bureau, but they stopped responding. Please, please do not use them!!!

  2. Our hot water stopped working and I thought we would need a new water heater. The plumber who came was prepared to change out the water heater. He said the water heater was in good condition and looked around. He saw that the breaker was off and solved the issue quickly. I appreciate that he saved my family a large expense and will call Buddy’s Plumbing first the next time I have a plumbing issue.

  3. I used Buddy’s Plumbing LLP services in Dothan, AL last week. I have given one star, because there is no way to review without giving star rating. I just want to tell facts and let the any possible reader decide whether I got a fair deal or not.
We called the plumbing service for leaky toilets. On the day he arrived we also found the water pressure has gone down so much, shower in the 2nd floor would abruptly stop if someone flushes a toilette. He agreed to look into that and worked for approximately 30 min outside and said that there was a small leak that he fixed. The water pressure remained very low. The plumber said as this was added-on work, he must come back for it. We got a bill for $ 322.45 for ‘Repaired 2 toilets, checked spout on the tub faucet, unjammed disposal, repaired leak in yard on main water line. ‘

Two days later the man came back as promised and said there must be another leak. About 45 min later he had dug up a hole around the pipe entering house, about 1’ in diameter and about 6” deep. He had cut a portion of the pipe, and a root of the adjacent tree. He said the root was pinching the tube decreasing the pressure. He also said there was a leak, ‘small’. The tube did not appear pinched and there was no water in the hole he dug, it was not even wet. No pictures.
This did not solve the problem. He said he does not know what else to do. He could not refer me to another agency that could help. I got a bill for 437.44 for ‘Repaired leak at the house water line.’
I had no issue with the first bill of 322.45, but I had problems with the second for 437.44 dollars. I had checked the meter which was not running when water was not being used, to me, that was an indication that there was no leak. He showed no evidence for presence of leak and when the ‘repair’ failed to improve, he gave me no possible solutions.
I called their office and talked with a lady named Prissy. In the beginning she said she would talk with someone else and call me back. But then she said she is the one to make decisions. She said, ‘It may not have solved the problem, but he did work, and money has been spent for equipment.’ I said if she was talking about paying for the expenses, I am willing. She immediately said, ‘This is not Walmart to negotiate. The bill ‘stands as it is.’
I have paid a total of $ 759.89 to Buddy’s Plumbing. I learnt we can negotiate with Walmart, the magic word is, ‘Buddy’s Plumbing.’😄

  4. If you want great dependable service with friendly professional people you should try Buddy’s Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC Service. They do great work and you can rely on their word. They know their business and will go all out to please their customers. I have used them many times for both plumbing and electrical work and in every case was extremely well pleased. If I have plumbing or electrical issues, they are absolutely the company I will call.

  5. Love them! I live in a older home that was so good a deal I couldn’t turn it down even knowing it had problems. One of those problems was some of my outlets didn’t work or stopped working. To save money I was encouraged to try to change them myself. Found out the first electric outlets were these dangerous simple older style that still had the coating on the wires, which is why some stoped working. Four hours took care of 19 outlets, three switches, and they found a short in my box they fixed. Well worth every dollar and will be calling them and recommend them for any problems that may come up in the future.
