Lived here for 2 years. Although apartments themselves are decent, the area is extremely unsafe and the management was not helpful or sympathetic in the least when my car was vandalized multiple times (broken into and catalytic converter stolen). You pay for parking with a negligent third party company which guarantees no safety for your vehicle. Security is a joke. Homeless people all around the area and criminals entering the garage at will to steal and damage your cars. For the whole 2 years I was there, one of the parking gates wasn’t even functional and people could leave at will. If you value a sense of safety and security this is not the place.
I’ve been living at Broadway place for nearly 4 years. Originally in the North building, 1bdrm. I was in LOVE with that unit! I wish I never moved but a family member moved to LA so got a 2bdrm. Tbh I don’t like this unit but that’s my fault. I should have looked at other units, suiting my preference, instead of rushing. Won’t make that mistake again. Otherwise, the amenities are great as well as Resident services. I’m likely to sign a 4th lease! (but definitely in a different unit. The North building is my favorite 🤍)
This place has cockroaches!!!! I had pest control come take a look. However I still found one after he came. I’m a clean person who just moved in. My apartment is still empty. I have seen them crawling in my bedroom. I don’t know where They come from. My apartment building also gets no sunlight which sucks. I wish they would move me to a different unit to see if they also have cockroaches or break the lease so I can go somewhere else.
Do not rent here.
I was pretty depressed living here. The apartments don’t get much light in them and the location is loud, smelly, overpriced and sketchy. I had issues with charges on my account they never resolved them until I moved, that was a year long headache I won’t get into. They also took my deposit then charged me nearly $700 after I moved for cleaning fees and other utilities. I left the apartment spotless besides maybe some crumbs behind the stove. Management and Security don’t care if parties are happening upstairs above you late at night. Anyways yeah I don’t recommend moving here.
I have not had working A/C or heat in my unit for TWO months. I have opened almost a dozen work orders, have been emailing the property manager constantly, and the issue has not been resolved. I am a rational person and have given the building ample time to resolve the issue, and it has become clear that this issue will go on unresolved indefinitely. I fully expect to not have any A/C or heat for at LEAST the next 4 months. On top of the significant inconvenience of the situation, I have not been given any sort rent concession to correct for the situation. The handling of this situation has been completely unacceptable. Broadway Palace advertises “luxury living”, but please tell me what is luxury about not having working A/C or heat in your unit for over two months? I would consider that before moving to this building.
