why are all the employees here so rude and unwelcoming. went in when it first opened and the employee near the entrance gave me the most nastiest stare and didn’t greet me once. also tell me why all of the employees that run the dressing room clearly don’t do their job properly, just a bunch of them talking to each other. i love brandy melville, but the workers here at this specific location are just not it.
I had the worst experience at Brandy Melville in Ala Moana today. The so-called “manager,” Samantha Jaime, displayed a level of disrespect I’ve never seen before anywhere. Her outrageous sense of entitlement and unprofessionalism were beyond tolerable. During our exit, she subjected my friends and me to a bag check, seemingly targeting us because of our Arab background. If she felt the need to do a bag check, it should have been handled discreetly rather than in front of everyone. This public humiliation tactic was unnecessary, and even after finding nothing, she failed to offer an apology. The only person she humiliated was herself as the customers at the shop came to me and said she’s being completely outrageous. Samantha Jaime’s blatant racism and unacceptable conduct make her unfit for any position at Brandy Melville, or as a matter of fact any job anywhere. Consider your options wisely and do not shop there. Very unprofessional lady and would never choose to work with her or hire her anywhere. Never shopping at brandy ever again and it’s all thanks to Samantha!
Extremely rude service. Walk in and prepare to be glared up and down for 5 min. Most of the workers were talking while one was running around the store doing everything. Don’t work a customer service job if you don’t like the public. I noticed the ladies that work here during the summer months are much friendlier and helpful.
The employees were very rude and got the cops and security called on a little girl, which is just out right wrong. I heard this IN the store and apparently they found no evidence and still called her family and the police.
this brandy has a really cute selection of clothes!! the workers do make me scared tho
