First of all, Blackplate is the best auto shop I have ever dealt with. Period.
From my initial call all the way to the end of the project, the shop staff and owner were all very professional, courteous, and prompt with updates, details, or requests.
To my understanding, my project was a little bit “out of the box” and different from their normal scope of work. However, they took the challenge head-on and provided amazing results. I have a Sand Rail that happens to be street legal but originally built for the dirt/sand. My request was to have it converted to be safe and reliable on the street as well as the sand. Including: front brakes, power steering, entirely new front end, stereo system, motor/transmission maintenance, custom windshield, new wiring harness, turn signals, etc. I also had a very hard dead line and they worked countless hours and late into the night to meet that deadline and my expectations.
My sand rail is back at their shop now to do some more custom work and I’m excited to see what they come up with next. Hands down, best shop ever. Will always go back and HIGHLY recommend!!
I took my 97′ Corvette C5 to Blackplate Restorations twice and they provided excellent work both times. I plan to bring my car back for further work. They fix the lights by replacing the gears and replaced the the passenger mirror. The color matched was 100%! Adam and Heather are very professional and I highly recommended anyone who needs to have any restoration work or body work done on their car. They do everything!
Adam and the crew at Blackplate Restorations did a great job restoring a truck that’s been in my family for 50 years. Adam and his team are true masters of their trade. They just finished a rebuild for me that I couldn’t be happier with. Customer service and communication exceeded expectations from beginning to end and I was never told something was going to cost more, as can often happen halfway through these types of projects. Definitely the only shop I’ll be recommending for any restoration service, from under the hood to body work and paint!
Black plate has a great restoration they’re always helpful and they’ll get the parts that you need to restore your old car and make it look like one of the new ones that came off the lot and that year they restore the best Mopars and Chevys that I’ve noticed here in Santa Clarita and Newhall area ever
