1. We loved The Tides hotel in Orange Beach, Alabama! The cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. I’m very picky about the cleanliness of hotels and this one exceeded my expectations! Not only our room, but the lobby, halls, elevators and pool area as well. Staff was friendly. We didn’t go at a busy time so they upgraded our room which was appreciated! Pool area was our favorite with the beach right next to it! Gorgeous view. The hotel is at a great location. Beach front wasn’t packed and enough stores around for any need you might have. The one and only thing i didn’t like was the daily parking fee. Other than that I was very happy with our stay! Highly recommend!

2. The hotel was beautifully decorated. The rooms were clean and the extra bunk beds were a plus when sharing a room with four people. This hotel is beachfront and it’s a short walk to the water. Even though the hotel is next to a public parking lot for beach access, it wasn’t crowded for the last full week of June. The pool and hot tub were clean and in good working order. The water temperature was comfortable. The pool side bar was nice and the staff were friendly, provided great service, and the drinks were delicious.

   We booked this hotel before they changed the policy regarding complimentary breakfast so we didn’t have to pay the 15.00 charge for the buffet. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered unique items on different days including smoked salmon and shrimp skewers. They also had a coastal Creole sauce that contained sausage, scallops, shrimp, onion, and peppers that was phenomenal! The buffet also had standard items like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, grits, and yogurt. I would not hesitate to pay for the breakfast buffet on future stays.

   Overall, this hotel is a wonderful choice if you are looking for a beachfront hotel in the Orange Beach area.

3. Great spot with good service at a decent price. Excellent breakfast buffet with tasty options. Convenient pool and hot tub for days when the kids want to swim but there are too many sting rays and jellys in the ocean. Recommended!

4. Cannot say enough about this wonderful hotel! Clean and spacious rooms, beautifully maintained common areas, pool and lobby. Kind and friendly staff. Kara continued to go above and beyond to make our stay memorable again this years as she has for many. She is the model for excellent customer service as well as being just a outstanding person. We can’t thank her enough for the hospitality she has extended to us every year. Rooms have mini fridge and microwaves perfect if you are staying a few days or more.!The new breakfast was fantastic and well worth the new fee. You will not find a better or more delicious buffet for the price (and Gorgeous Gulf view!). Sandra, the front breakfast attendant, couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful, and kudos to the breakfast cooks for their outstanding work. The bar now offers tacos and quesadillas along with the fun tropical drink selections. As every year, we were so sad to leave! Thank you hard working staff and management.

5. Rooms were clean. Balcony view was nice. Good for an 3 day visit. I was disappointment with the self parking per day fee. I booked on the Best Western app and I never saw a mention of this additional charge. It’s a small property with plenty of parking space. Since there is no other option, why not just include it in room charge at least for one car?!!!
   Also, why not pay someone to pick up trash and seaweed in early morning to prepare for the day?
