This place had everything I look for: it was quiet, comfortable, friendly, close to the beach, and near interesting non-chain restaurants, all at an affordable price. It’s not fancy, which suits me perfectly. One pleasant surprise was the daily maid service, which surpasses the service offered by hotels costing twice as much. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel was amazing and everything we were looking for!! Del Mar is such a beautiful town and this hotel is in the perfect spot. We had a beach view and it was gorgeous. The staff was more than accommodating. The rooms were super clean – and I am veryyyy picky. We walked downtown every day, it’s so convenient! We loved everything about this place and can’t wait to go back! We have already talked about trying to reserve the same room for our next trip because we loved it so much.
Simple, no frills, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Quiet atmosphere, clean. Excellent service and friendly staff. TV is cable, but I don’t come to Del Mar to sit in my hotel and watch TV so wasn’t a huge problem for me!
Close – a few blocks from Downtown Del Mar where there are shops, restaurants, cafes. Also a few blocks from the beach!
Stay here every time we do a get away to Del Mar. Walking distance to restaurants and beach. Nice staff and queen room with balcony and ocean view. Nice kitchenette with 2 burner hot plate, sink, mini fridge and freezer and a keurig coffee machine.
Would be nice if maybe a few dishes were available so guest can make full use of kitchen.
Beds are comfy, spacious room, walk in shower and nice provided shampoo and conditioner.
Downside a little musty smelling in the room and bathroom has a sulfur smell in shower.
Other than that room very well maintained.
