It’s not an easy walk to downtown. Napa does not value walking. The sidewalks were sketchy and sometimes nonexistent from our hotel. Very disappointing.
The hotel is very nice. We used the hot tub one evening and had it to ourselves. Felt so good after wine tasting.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Lovely coffee station at the front desk. For some reason we didn’t get a balcony. There is no complimentary breakfast offered which was a first for me at a Best Western.
It’s worth it to stay here. Least expensive nice option I found.
The towels were covered in human hair, including the shower, sink, and night stand. I think they take the previous dirty guest towel and clean the room with it. Everywhere is gross. The carpets wreacked of carpet cleaner and the room smelled like weed. The only good thing about this location is friendly staff and its proximity to downtown Napa.
I stay with BW frequently for business (Platinum). While the room had been recently nicely remodeled, I could easily hear the people above me walking around. This property does not offer breakfast or even coffee service in the lobby (every BW I’ve stayed with – especially the “Plus” properties – offer some sort of breakfast & coffee service). They did not offer even a small discount voucher for the restaurant next door. I will not stay here again.
It probably would have been better if I was wine tasting rather than working. They put me in a suite that was simply a partitioned room. It offered no privacy in the bedroom. It was simply bigger. The work space was terrible. The chair was more art deco than functional. They said all of their chairs were the same. I wouldn’t have been able to work at the desk for any length of time. The desk lamp was more of a night light. In general it was more foofy than functional.
Inn at the Vines was an excellent location in Napa. Close to the downtown area and the beginning of 29, away from the traffic. Staff is nice, room was clean and very large. Not expensive at all.
Also just across the street is gas, a grocery store, McDs and an In and Out.
