  1. A solid place to get any kind of Electronics you need whether it be PC parts to Cameras, or even appliances. The Staff are VERY HELPFUL and if one of the Staff does not have knowledge on any specific item, another staff always seems to be knowledgeable. For Example I went in looking at PC’s and came out with more of an Idea of what I wanted thanks to spending a literal hour 1 ON 1 with an Employee(I kinda felt bad but I truly did appreciate it).

Every single Best Buy store that I’ve ever shopped in has always been organized, have friendly staff that will be able to help you figure out your computer needs, TV needs, or help you with peripherals to ensure that you don’t buy the wrong product. It’s like home Depot for electronics. The only downfall is that they never give you all of the specs for their computers, and they have a hard time competing with Amazon because Best Buy is a brick and mortar store. (Has a physical location instead of only being online).

Went in for a very simple transaction, I bought a joby Tripod 5 days prior to this post and went to return it as I wasn’t happy with the product as one of the legs had gotten lose very quickly from using the product exactly as intended. I was very honest about the product and transparent about the issue. It did not go very well and the geek squad Manager was very rude and unempatetic to say the least.

    I contacted corporate and spoke with Allison she was incredible. She informed me that I was a long time customer of best buy and that they valued my business tremendously. She gave me a gift card for my trouble for the amount of the defective product and contacted the Merced store to speak with the store manager. The store manager called me and apologized and told me where the geek squad Manager fell short in the customer service side of things. Overall Allison and Brian made the situation a positive one and made me feel understood and valued. I hope that the store mager Bryan will keep his word and that further training will be implemented as to avoid these situations in the future.

  4. The new location is a lot smaller than before but fortunately for me, they still had the obscure item I needed to pick up! (Camera lens cleaning kit) They had a well marked layout and lots of tech set up well.

    The cashier was really cool and good at their job for being newly hired as they said. I would recommend this store and would definitely go by again when I need too.

  5. Worst experience ever I came to repair my phone, a girl by the name of faith was trying to help me. She was very rude. I told her I have an appointment I need to speak to the tech she refused. She’s like they can’t talk to you. And she was so rude with me I walked away and she was like don’t come back. I went outside. I called the tech direct line. He answered. He told me to come back in and he will help me. He was very nice. He took my phone check in and got me going thanks to him, but this girl really doesn’t deserve to work for this store she was unprofessional after I walked away. I got a text that I didn’t show up for my appointment. It doesn’t get worse than that.
