I ordered a tv and mount installation through Best Buy on July 30th. I was given a date to have the tv delivered to my house (Aug 10th) and a date to have the tv mounted (Aug 13), which I don’t understand why it couldn’t be delivered and installed in the same day.
I spoke with a Geek Squad member named Stephen (sp) and he told me that he could change the date of my delivery and installation so that it would be completed on the same day. He said that everything would be complete Aug 9th and he’ll update the schedule.
Aug 9th arrives and I didn’t receive any notifications for the delivery or installation. I texted Stephen around 10am to ask if I was still on the schedule for the 9th. He responded back “Sure let me double check.” I never heard back from him.
So now I’m sitting here with a delivered tv on my floor, still no response from Stephen, and will have to wait 3 more days for installation.
I would not have had an issue if Stephen said nothing could be done to change my dates; I do have an issue with having wasted a work day waiting for a response.
Best Buy in Huntsville needs to do better. 0/10 don’t recommend.
Helpful, knowledgeable staff when you can get someone to assist! Excellent post-sale customer service. I will continue to do business with this branch and recommend it to others.
This is by far the worst Best Buy I have ever been to. It took an hour to get help in the apple department the day I bought my MacBook and I was told I would be able to add applecare to this MacBook as a new device which is not the case. I was charged for fair condition and it says good condition 3 places on the box which looks like it was hit by a truck I may add. You literally need to borderline beg for help here. Bad store and not a place that deserves your hard earned money.
They don’t have enough people to truly help their customers. However, after a very very long wait, the person that helped us was very thorough in answering our questions, making sure we had all the extras that we needed to set it up. Thorough discussion on the warranty plans ect. Top notch customer service…..when they finally are able to get to you.
Avoid buying open box screens. Bought an open box monitor here, and immediately took it to a clients business only to find it was busted. Best buy claimed they were sure they had inspected it and I was out of luck. After a bunch of arguing they took the monitor back, all while acting like they were doing me a big favor. Lesson learned!
