I first got there, I was looking for assistance. It was three people standing in the area scanning and no one asked me did I need assistance or even spoke. I needed A price and so I asked to associate who was sitting there talking with each other about personal situations and they told me to download the app to check a price. That made me even more matter when they both had scanners in their hand, so I put some of the Outfit back and only got one when I had 10 in my hand. Cannot find anyone to check me out, so I went to the shoe department to get checked out, and the lady told me that she would take me this time, but they normally take people with clothing on the other side of the wall. I told her that my reason for coming to you is because I see no associates over there that would assist me. She said where Iām about to have a nicotine fit so she called the office. Iām assuming and said that someone was running late and that she needed a break because she needs to get a nicotine fixed I was flabbergasted. I am from Mobile, but I currently live in Birmingham. I normally stop in Montgomery at Dillards, but since I was coming home, I came to the Dillards in Mobile never again. I am in management and I would advise people to stop having personal conversations while customers are around it makes the customers not want to ask questions and you lose money that way. It got 2 rating because they have a variety of toddlers clothing. The ladies over in the purse section were perfect. They were outgoing they interact with me. They told me what was going on in Dept what was on sale which just came out those lady were superb.
This store is fantastic. The prices were great but on top of that were several great sales. The employees were very knowledgeable and more than anxious to help and tell you about deals in the store. The clothing, cosmetics counter, perfumes, we all first rate. To be a large department store, their people seemed to have a mom and pop personality.
I love shopping, but donāt need a thing, so I always shop sales, and clearance to scratch my itch. Found in clearance a beautiful necklace, and in shoes a killer pair of short boots. Belk didnāt disappoint.ā¤ļø
This is a nice department stores with decent prices. They have plenty of nice clothes, cosmetics and jewelry for ladies. They also have some nice household items. I liked their Christmas decorations, they seemed very popular and that area was busy. I also received 2 holidays sweatshirts from them as a gift and like those shirts from the Alfred Dunner brand
My intentions was to spend 150.00 dollars at Belks place. I took the stair escalator to the next department to shop in the menās section. I encountered two women employees just talking at the top floor in a group and not being aware of the customer need. I needed help at that moment. So, I searched around for some employee to help assist but, no one seemed to want to help. So, I went back down the escalator on the first floor aiming for the front door disgusted and not satisfied and a store employee entrance person working stopped me and communicated with me. She asked if she could help I told her upstairs was not pleasant and she asked could I help and I will go back upstairs to help you, and I said no. She said that people get paid commission and I said Iām leaving and she said do you have a Belks account. And I said if I had a card or account I would tear it up and I left. I was totally dissatisfied with this placeā¦..
