I have finally had a chance to sit down and leave a review, I can’t think of anywhere more deserving of 5 stars. For our last-minute “Baby Moon” my husband and I were recommended to Bear Creek, a little peace of Heaven right in our backyard.
First, customer service was completely stellar and out of this world. We felt we were treated like family and welcomed with open arms.
Though the owners, Randy & Sandy, live on the property, you are surrounded by complete privacy. Upon driving in, you see the most beautiful natural rocks (I have never seen something so beautiful at a home) and goats! Way too cute.
Waking up to the view from the front porch of the lodge is something you’d see in a movie.
The Lodge was cleaned, stocked with cards and puzzles (our absolute favorite!!), dishes available for your needs, you couldn’t ask for anything more.
I could write this review for days because it was just that enjoyable. We hope to return soon. Thank you for making this one of the best trips of my life.
We loved the cabin. The design and decor totally felt right. The cozy gas logs and spacious porch gave plenty of space for relaxing and enjoying the quiet location. We stayed in cabin two which only had one bathroom downstairs with the bedrooms upstairs. We had no trouble navigating the stairway but it might present issues for someone with mobility limitations. For us it was a perfect fit for celebrating our anniversary.
Sandy, the owner, promptly answered text messages. The property was clean and we had all the things we needed to prepare breakfast. It was just a nice, stress-free weekend in a lovely, wooded location.
Found this place on a spur of the moment while traveling looking for property. This place does not disappoint!! Blown away with the beauty of the cabin and tranquility. The owners jumped on cleaning a cabin right away so we stay. Can not say enough of pleasant it is here.
Beautiful place. The cabin we stayed in was decorated so nice with old antiques. Quiet and peaceful. Randy and Sandy Galloway were supper friendly. Definitely recommended. Perfect for a needed getaway.
I just got here a couple of hours ago. I haven’t even spent the night here yet. This place is magical! They have thought of everything! Seasonings of all kinds to cook with. Sugar. Flour. Even a blow dryer! I LOVE this place!!!
