Quaint little restaurant out in the country with a parking lot that is constantly full but when you get inside you will find some of the best comfort food around. The fried fish on Friday is delicious. Everyday look for meatloaf that is like your mamma use to make, chicken fingers, BBQ ribs, all cooked to perfection and hot. Real mashed potatoes, green beans , baked beans, catfish on Fridays everybody!, the lists goes on, we always leave regretting eating too much.
The staff is always pleasant and friendly and there is enough staff that the tables are cleaned as people leave.
During the week wait a little after lunch time and there’s no wait, on Sunday after Church, you will be waiting awhile but it is worth it. We frequent this restaurant at least twice a month with friends and thoroughly enjoy every visit.
Always a very clean welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly an eager to be of any help you might need. Now last but not least…….the food is so so good. It’s like eating at Grandma’s except so many more choices. I have never eat anything there that I didn’t love. The chicken an dumplings are just like my Mom use to make. The price is so reasonable for all the wonderful food. Don’t forget to save room for dessert. 😀
The service was very exceptional. We went in a large group with our church, and they took very good care of us. My cup was never empty (one of the main things I gauge at a buffet).
The food was very good southern comfort food. Some people that came with us aren’t fans of the type of food, so it may not be what you want.
The price was also very reasonable for eating at a buffet.
I am not usually a fan of buffets but this place was great! There were plenty of options and most of the options were very good. There were a couple of items that I wasn’t crazy about but overall, everything was really good. I especially loved their vegetables and baked beans. They also had a great peanut butter cake and banana pudding! The prices were great considering the quality of food. I can’t wait to go back!
Great food. Worth the wait which was not bad. Made reservation online while on the way. Great price! Definitely plan to come again. Good for kids too. They also sell fresh eggs at a great price per dozen.
