  1. Overall a great experience, I wish we could streamline the finalizing of the paperwork. I was very direct at what I wanted and what I did not want and they honord my requests. Ferris and Andrew were great. The truck and the price compared to other dealerships closed the deal. I would buy from them again.

  2. Adam Ismail was the salesman I worked with over the course of a week to select and lease my new car.

    After being with Honda for a solid 10 years, I was ready for a change and wanted to try a new brand. It’s well-known that visiting car dealerships isn’t always enjoyable, and unfortunately, there are many cases where people aren’t treated with honesty or respect. As a woman, I’m even more hypervigilant about entering spaces where I might not be treated honestly or respectfully. However, Adam eased these concerns by being very kind, mindful, and patient.

    In my view, taking a week to make a financial decision to commit to a $50-60k car isn’t a long time, though others might see it differently. Nonetheless, Adam remained composed, patient, and communicative throughout the entire process. This is what ultimately led me to choose Hyundai after being with Honda for 10 years. A good salesman should build trust, which is established through ethics, integrity, patience, knowledge, and kindness. Adam possesses all of these qualities. Ultimately, it’s these traits that make a lasting impression and create long-term clients.

    Additionally, Adam is always happy to answer any questions I have, even after I leased my car, another quality that helps maintain trust once it has been built.

    Thanks to Adam, I feel confident in my decision to go with this dealership and Hyundai as a company.

  3. Disappointing service. My wife took her car in and asked about a few issues, one of which is that the alarm goes off every time she opens the hatchback – even though the sensors detect the key and open the locked car (alarm should disarm, right?). The alarm goes off every time. So she takes it in and they say “we couldn’t reproduce the problem”. We can do it every time. Disappointing that they couldn’t hold the key in one hand and try to open the locked hatchback to see the problem. They wanted to charge $200 to “diagnose the problem” even though we have full coverage on the car.

    Updated – I called and spoke to the manager who was very helpful. He had us bring the car in again and addressed the issue. It turned out to be an aftermarket alarm that the previous dealer installed (perhaps incorrectly) that they were able to remove. This fixed something that had been bothering us for a while, so really appreciate the help. It was still a bit of a pain to bring it back in, but they did a nice job of checking and setting us up with a rental car for the time the car was back in the shop. Updated the review to reflect the additional work and effort for us. Thanks!

  4. We had a great experience at AutoNation Hyundai in Carlsbad! They did their best to undo the prior poor sales practice of another dealer on our trade in and gave us a fair deal. Our salesperson Reef was straight forward and knowledgeable. Nice to have a pleasant experience at a car dealership for a change.
