  1. Most reviews here seem to be fake. Never buy from them. Extremely unprofessional and very bad service.

    Let me narrate you my story. I bought a White Westinghouse 500 ltr+ fridge from Mr. Naresh at Aurum Enterprises/ Galaxy International on 14th August. I had an urgent requirement as our old fridge had conked off and I have a 2 month old baby whose milk needs to be put in the fridge/freezer.

    I told him I can pay by credit card but he refused because of additional 2-3% charges. Being a Sunday/Independence day weekend, the only other alternative was to do a bank transfer which I promptly did. Bank rules allow only Rs. 50,000 transfer in the first 24 hours. However, despite knowing this, he called/messaged me at least 10 times harrowing me for the balance payment which I felt was quite unprofessional, especially since it was him who had refused to accept payment vis credit card. To his credit though, he delivered the fridge to me that very evening despite not receiving the full amount.

    All this while, Naresh kept telling me about how they have the best service and how we will never have any reason for complaint.

    When the fridge arrived, from the packing of the fridge, it appeared that it was not a new piece but had been repacked. I raised this concern to Naresh but he assured me that it was new and there was nothing to be worried about. Given my urgent situation, I did not pursue this any further. The technician came that evening to install the fridge and advised us to turn on the fridge only the following morning. We duly followed his instructions.

    On both next 2 days, 15th and 16th August, we noticed that the fridge/ freezer were not cooling as per expectation. However, I let it pass thinking of it as teething/starting issues.

    On 17th August evening, the freezer started making very loud rattling noises. I immediately called Naresh. Despite his prior assurances about fantastic service, no engineer turned up the entire evening and we were finally told to turn off the fridge! Because of this, I had to then transport the babys milk to my parents house to put it in their fridge.

    On 18th August morning, the engineer finally came at 1 pm. The engineer did some “reset” in the fridge and left. However, the fridge didn’t cool the entire day. I gave this feedback to Naresh and asked him to replace the fridge. The whole day of 19th August, there was not even a single word from him.

    On 20th August, he called me in the morning and said will send engineer. The fridge had completely stopped cooling and again the freezer had started making rattling noises. The engineer finally showed up at 6 pm in the evening and again did some temporary fix.

    I then called Naresh and told him to take the fridge back and refund my money as I was not happy with the product and the service at all. However, he refused to refund my money! He then stopped responding to calls and messages too and turned his phone off. Because of this, I had to buy another small fridge for my babys milk for Rs. 15,000.

    Finally on 21st morning, he sent me a message that he will refund the money and he duly transferred Rs. 49,000. However, the balance Rs. 36,000 was only transferred by him 6 days later on 27th August after multiple follow ups and after I threatened that I will sell his fridge to recover my dues. He claimed that the delay was because his wife was unwell and in hospital. However, like I told him, transferring money is a 2 minute activity.

    Harrowing experience overall.

  2. Interacted with mr bhupinder regarding my query on a white Westinghouse refrigerator. He was very clear and precise about measurements, warranty, service of the refrigerator etc. The place is located inside a narrow lane but parking is available. It’s not a showroom kind of display but all products r displayed. The product was delivered within a couple of hours and even fitted. Mr bhupinder and his staff went out of the way to get it functional by evening for which he had to send extra staff as the refrigerator door needed to be dismantled so that it could enter through a narrow door. They did explain every function after fitting it.Thank you very much for your service.
