  1. Well it didnā€™t start out well, the front desk person treated like I was a bother. He had very poor people skills and I donā€™t think he likes his job. He checked me in, handed me the keys and said, there you go. Meanwhile, the woman next to him is reviewing the breakfast program, health facilities, pool hours and dinner options with the couple she was checking in. This guy either needs training or firing, if thatā€™s possible in this day and age. As for the facility, room and other staff members m they were all excellent, Isabella one of the waitresses was a breath of fresh air and so was our waitress both nights at dinner. Oh, and although they have nothing to do with the RTJ golf, golf was fantastic!

  2. Super clean hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and accommodating. The pool is beautiful with lots of activities for all, including what I believe to be an adult only section. There are lots of good restaurants to meet almost every palate. The gym was decent, but I couldnā€™t get public wifi to work.

  3. I recently visited this resort for a quick Memorial Day getaway and had a wonderful experience. While the hotel was very busy the day before, which prevented an early check-in, the staff was accommodating and allowed me to relax and use the pools while they prepared my room. The outdoor pool, though smaller than it appears in pictures, is a good size for children to play in, and they also offer an adult-only pool outdoors. Additionally, there is a small indoor pool with a hot tub.

The resort provides a plethora of activities, and the recreational center lends out equipment for free. I enjoyed playing outdoor games, pickleball, and badminton, and I also rode the bikes around the area. The resort offers bicycles in various sizes along with helmets for both kids and adults. Although I didnā€™t get to play golf, I learned that the practice range offers unlimited balls, which is a great perk.

One of the highlights of my stay was riding bikes around the resort area, which was lots of fun. As a Platinum Elite member, I received free breakfast and chose to upgrade to a full breakfast for just $7 per person. The breakfast was very nice, with great service to match.

Overall, the staff at this resort was very friendly, and the amenities were excellent. I highly recommend this resort for a short getaway.

  4. I am a teacher and used the RSA discount for the spa package. What I wanted was just a little break to recuperate and what I got was a mini retreat that exceeded my expectations. The resort is absolutely beautiful with tons of activities at the recreation center. The spa is fantastic, and the facial and body polish I received made me feel like a million bucks. Had some of the best sleep of my life in a wonderfully spacious room. I canā€™t believe Iā€™ve been teaching a decade and JUST NOW decided to take advantage of this. Even though I was using the RSA discount, no one made me feel as if I didnā€™t belong and the service was phenomenal. Shout out to Cindy, my server at Southern Oak restaurant. She was the absolute sweetest and I will absolutely return again.
