I have been a patient of Dr.Nix and NP Hill for about 3 or 4 years and I adore them and their staff. But I was in today and got the pleasure of meeting NP Terance I hope I spelled that correctly, a med student and a absolute pleasure this young person is going to have an amazing career , He did a small procedure for me and was clean, professional and most of all caring. Wow. What a great experience. Staff, even though very busy, were friendly and helpful. Dr Nix was all my mom had hoped for. He was thorough, listened, asked questions and provided detailed explanations to issues my mom brought up. He put a plan in motion and call the next day with follow up. Definitely worth the wait.
Dr Nix is the most caring physician I have ever known. I have worked in the medical field for 35 years. I have never known a physician care for his patients like he does. He is very prompt in calling you right back with all your results. He explains them beyond and answers all your questions. His staff is very friendly and helpful. Thanks for being such an awesome physician!!!!
Dr. Nix had his nurse practitioner to cancel an appointment to check my mother’s lungs because she has not been seen by him in a while. So much for a doctor caring about the community. Apparently he doesn’t care about the community unless the patient is pouring regular dollars into his pocket.
So disappointing… I hope someday he finds himself on the end of needing help and can’t get anyone to lend a hand.
His office doesn’t practice the standards of privacy and confidentiality because everytime I’ve attended an appointment with my aunt the staff at the front are constantly talking about patients and their personal problems along with their speculation on addiction and whatever else they can gossip about. It makes me sad because my friend died from pills given to her from a doctor that she got addicted to. It’s not okay to talk about people and be unprofessional like that especially when the entire waiting room can hear you. It makes me wonder if they talk and make fun of everyone.
