Great Experience with Alabama Tax! First year I had taxes in 3 different states, and they had no problem filing them properly. Great Family and Business.
DO NOT TRUST THEM. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRESPONSIBLE. I wish there was an option to give 0 stars. Theyāll tell you theyāll do everything for you and then say they canāt do it anymore(right at the day of tax deadline). I went to them two weeks before the deadline and they said theyāll call me back in a few days after they resolve an issue. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK! In fact, I kept calling them everyday asking for an update until the day before the deadline and they kept rescheduling, kept saying āweāll call you backā. And āif we havenāt called you back, itās because we havenāt figured it out yet. We will figure it out before the deadlineā, thatās what they said when I called them the day before the due date and they still didnāt call me back on the due date. I had to go to their office myself. Thatās when they said they canāt do it anymore! When asked why didnāt they call back or said anything before, they acted like it isnāt their fault. RIDICULOUS. I should have known better and seen the red flags since the start. I am writing this review so you donāt go through what I had to.
My family has done business with Shelby Dodd for over 20 years! She is brilliant! I would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to go see her!
Iāve literally been using Alabama Tax Service for 14 years this year they messed my taxes up I was supposed to get back almost 4000 more now Iāve got a wait on my amended tax return that I could really need need that money and itās like they act like itās my fault that they messed my taxes up my best advice is use TurboTax you get it back faster itās free to file and if you miss your taxes up itās on you not someone else Because now Iām going to have to wait God knows how long to get my money
