1. My name is Hazel Hightower. Today 08/7/2024. I went to Alabama Power in Headland, Alabama to turn on my electricity in Midland City, Alabama because I was in the process of selling my home, and I had a realtor waiting on me so I could let him know if everything was done. Once I arrived at the office around 10:45 am, I attempted to open the second set of doors to go in but the doors were locked. I saw 2 people inside and the lights were on. I stood there looking inside the building to see if I could come in or acknowledge me standing outside. I didn’t see any sign stating if they were closed or on lunch. The only notice that I saw was written for August 8 that they are going to close at 4:45 pm. I waited, and after 20 minutes more customers came and left. I called the State Farm office across the street to see if they knew anything, and the female said ” No, and I have no clue why they would be closed”. I was hot and began to get a little frustrated. I then called the 800 number, and I was able to get a nice woman on the phone. Her name was Ashley from Eufaula. I explained my issue. She quickly apologized for what I was going through, and she quickly handled my call, and my electricity was turned back on without any problems. I believe the time was 11:45 am. Once everything was completed. I thanked her and she did the same. When we hung up the phone. Customers were arriving, and one customer said to me” Ma’am, They are open now” . I said thank you but my issue was resolved. I was still in the parking lot, and no one ever came to acknowledge my presence there. Ashley gets a 10+ rating.

4. Jarrod Oates was great. He showed me several models of washers and dryers. He didn’t pressure me to buy a specific brand. He allowed me to pick the brand that would fit my needs. Great salesman!

5. The Kiosk that saved my Life.. I’m so grateful we don’t have to stand in a line ask a lot of questions. It makes life easier when u don’t have to rush from work to pay a bill. Thx guys. And great staff here as well.
