  1. Ive had an account at this bank for about 20 years now, I WOULD NOT recommend this bank to anyone looking to open an account here. My debit card gets hacked every other month in recent years, also over a thousand dollars was taken out without permission to which they refused to reimburse even though they claim to protect your money. Also in the past 2 days I’ve had to make multiple calls for more fraud activity, to which I’ve been on hold for over an hour each time with no answer or returned call. Do not use this bank, go somewhere else!!!!

  2. Their anti-fraud program is a complete joke. My card gets declined all over the place…. restaurants, grocery stores, purchases online, sending money to friends, RECEIVING money from friends. After declination, I get a text that I have to authorize the transaction and TRY again, which is lovely when you’re at a store in a line full of people. Traveling somewhere? Make sure, even if it’s an hour away, that you notify them about where you’re going because they’ll surely flag those transactions as fraudulent as well! I especially loved it when they declined money I tried to RECEIVE via Facebook pay as fraud, but not the money I SENT to others. Even better was when I went to Europe and my card declined there as well, despite me calling a month in advance to notify them of the travel dates and countries to be visited. They need to take a close look at what other banks are doing because this is the WORST anti-fraud program I’ve ever experienced. I’m incredibly thankful for my Chase card, which I now use everywhere I go because this card is completely unreliable.

  3. I recommend Alabama One Credit Union to anyone who wants great customer service! I recently secured a loan from a Loan Officer at the Rose Boulevard Branch Bank in Northport. I was pleasantly surprised that the Loan Officer found a lower rate of interest for my loan than what I expected! By professional and knowledgeable experience , the loan officer was able to combine my new loan and pay off an existing personal loan resulting in at a lower rate of interest. ! I am very pleased to have only one monthly payment! I truly appreciate the dedication and diligence of this employee to find the best way possible for getting a loan quickly and efficiently. Customer service is truly about how an employee makes you feel!!

  4. If you value your time and sanity bank elsewhere. They are not equipped to meet twenty first century demands. Especially if you use your debit card for most transactions. You will spend more time responding to unnecessary fraud alerts. It becomes a job. Bill you’ve been paying for years, declined, fraud alert. Buying concert tickets, you lost them, fraud alert. Having dinner with friends, sorry sir, your transaction was declined, fraud alert. They say respond yes to the text and it will go through on next attempt. Not true. I’ve had multiple fraud alerts for same transaction minutes apart, responding yes, this is my transaction. Out in public and left your phone behind. Then you’re stranded in an awkward situation. For your own mental health, just stay away from this credit union.
