Dr. Beck is thorough and really makes sure he has everything in order for not only his patients, but for the insurance companies as well. Which, making sure insurance companies have everything is most beneficial to the patient and takes a lot of weight off. Dr. Beck has also surrounded himself with the best staff! They are caring, friendly, knowledgeable and beyond helpful! They all have really good personalities too! I know this journey I’m about to begin will be made better by Dr. Beck and his amazing staff!
Dr. Beck and his staff are excellent! They are caring, compassionate, kind and understanding. My first meeting with Dr. Beck was after hours and he stayed with me and my family for over an hour explaining my treatment plan and answering questions. He has a wonderful bedside manner, always patient, never rushes you. His nurse, Jan, is wonderful! All the staff at Alabama Oncology are great. I am so glad I was referred to Dr. Beck and Alabama Oncology.
I was very much under impressed. I may have caught him on a bad day. However the staff was top notch ! He just seemed cold and very impersonal. I know we all have bad days but I wasn’t there for trivial reasons I was referred because my local cancer center cannot help my complicated case any longer. I hope every patient of his gets his very best in all phases! I will never return or suggest him to anyone. We only get one chance to make a first impression!
Dr. Beck is hands down one of the BEST doctors Ive had in all of my life and am so grateful my primary doctor refereed me to him a year back! I live an hour away but he is well worth the drive and is highly recommended! He is compassionate and listens to you. He really cares for his patients and makes you feel at home. Every time I come there for an infusion he personally walks me to the treatment room even when he is busy. Thank you Dr. Beck for being such a wonderful doctor! It makes such a difference to have a doctor you look forward to seeing each visit.
My mom was under Dr.Beck’s care before she passed. She was treated for Ovarian Cancer in 2022 and this man has the BEST bedside manners ever. But what got me, before my mom’s surgery last summer, he called and prayed with her over the phone on a Sunday evening, WHEN I TELL U I STILL GET CHOKED UP AT THE VERY THOUGHT OF THAT GESTURE.
