Spectacular experience with AE Kitchen & Bath!
I originally started out thinking I would take on my bathroom remodel myself but quickly realized that this was an undertaking that would take forever with my busy schedule.
A good friend of mine told me to inquire with AE Kitchen & Bath. I was able to get in touch with Lee, and he was nice enough to accommodate my schedule. He came out, assessed the project, and laid out a plan of attack. He assured me that he could get this project done within 2-3 days, which included completely gutting the bathroom, reworking some plumbing to install a legitimate shower head, repairing some subflooring, adding a light above the shower, installing a new exhaust fan, bathtub, quartz walls, tile floor, light fixture, and sink with cabinet!
Lee and his wife put together a great plan and design. I pretty much let them make all the choices, and my daughter and I could not be happier! The bathroom looks so much bigger and up to date! They did a really clean job and completed everything within two and a half days. From what I can see, no corners were cut. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations.
Now, the next project to consider is the kitchen.
An extra special thank you to Lee, his wife (the boss), and his crew. You all really made my daughter happy! And if sheās happy, Iām beyond happy.
Was excited to work with these folks. Very nice and up front costing.
However the fine details of the finished product was missing. Small dents here and there. They Scratched hardware that we purchased and we had to purchase another set.
We spent a week waiting for new shower cartridges because they didnāt know what type we should get. I wish our project came with an actual project manager who would tell us what we needed to do and by when. We felt like we had to plan and purchase so many things on our own. Even worse we asked them if we got the right ones and they said yes. Why say yes?
They stuck this sticky plastic all over our carpet to prevent stains but when it was removed left adhesive residue everywhere and now my carpet is ruined. When they volunteered to fix it they wanted to dump vinegar all over it.
When I asked how to fix they ignored me. I regret starting this project with them. Then their ābusiness ownerā who Iām not sure even what he does except being a glorified secretary and answer phone calls and write false apologies on reviews, cares more about his own feelings and feeling respected then respect the customer.
Posting this specifically for their ābusiness managerā (quotes intentional) as he made the entire experience even worse. The job was sloppy. They ruined my carpet. And Iām sure he will post some sad false apology response to this as well. That reply made the entire experience 1 star.
What a way to end it on a sour note
The project manager, Jenny, has a great eye for design and space but it also a great troubleshooter. She sees problems before you do and fixes them before you can even notice an issue yourself. She came to measure 3 separate times before construction began and checked in on the contractorsā work repeatedly to make sure everything was going as planned. She made what would otherwise be an overwhelming process easy and I love my very modern kitchen and bathroom! Highly recommend their service in the future! ~
