  1. Exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing and well seasoned and beautifully plated. I enjoyed every bite! The waitress also made me a wine flight! 4 different wines to taste since I didn’t want hard liquor (this is not on the menu). It was amazing! We went for my sister’s birthday and they had a birthday card waiting for her on the table and gave her a free slice of cake! Very considerate place on top of the amazing food! The wine selections were also great 👍🏾

  2. Great meal, stellar service and upscale atmosphere.

I ordered the boudin balls, okra and redfish. Generous portions for the starter and vegetable. The redfish was tasty but at 4 times the cost of the starter – I wish I had just ordered more starters! I also thought the fried potatoes made for an odd side to the fish – maybe a vegetable or rice?

Dessert was the peanut butter pie which came recommended by a friend. Highly recommend but I wish it was colder!

Overall- if you want a stellar meal with a corresponding price tag, acre is great!

  3. Went here after a graduation for lunch. Very nice place, and it feels very comforting to be there.

We started off with the OaK Chartruiere Board. It has pimento cheese, dry blue cheese, lamb ,pulled pork, and homemade crackers, and everything we tried was terrific. The pimento cheese was a stand-out.

For lunch, i ordered the Cuban and fries. The flavor was good but not as good as i expected. But the fries were good. My wife and daughter ordered the chicken fried chicken. The chicken and mashed potatoes were as good as any I’ve eaten anywhere! The other entrees we tried were the fish tacos, blackened shapper, briaket meatloaf, and burger.

For desserts, we tried the dessert board with the chocolate cake, blueberry shortcake, and peach upside down cake. We also ordered the peanut butter pie. Every single one was fabulous, but the peanut butter pie was another level. It was like it had a banana merengue that heated up.

All in all, it was a great place to eat, and we would definitely go back. The waitress was phenomenal!

  4. Honestly the best food I’ve had at a restaurant so far. The duck was a bit gamey and not for me, but they were very polite and offered me another entree. It was the best steak I’ve had in my life. And that’s not an exaggeration. The charcuterie board had so many things I had never tried before such as pickled, green beans and a variety of meats and cheeses. I don’t like pimento cheese but this is the only place I will eat it from. I got chocolate cake from this establishment and it was quite good too. It’s not cheap by any means and I would only go on a special occasion. But I would definitely recommend it for a fine dining feel.

  5. Celebrated my 26th birthday there & had a blast. Even though I was running late (due to unseen circumstances), my family was seated & I was waited on to order even though the kitchen would soon be closing to start on dinner. Sarah was amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu & desserts. We loved her hospitality & how kind & friendly she was. Her kind spirit really added on to an already great experience. Food was very delicious. Parking was easy. I also thank Acre for the birthday card they gave me. Can’t wait to come back!
