My coworker and I were passing through on a business trip and got booked here last minute. The rooms were VERY clean and there was cold whiskey glasses in the translucent mini fridge. This review is mostly to rave about the great breakfast prepared by the wonderful Jasmin. Iāve never had a hotel breakfast half as varied and delicious!
The shower was super, but the shower floor needed some real cleaning. The mini fridge wasnāt cold enough to prevent food from spoiling. Not up tp Marriotās usual high standardsā¦
Do not stay here! This place is a HUGE FINIANCAL FRAUD.
I was suppose to stay there May 28th for Bama Bound. Unfortunately, our flight was cancelled and was not able to make it. I called the hotel to move the date to end of June and I was told that I would NOT be charged since we are Titanium Elite.
Well, that was not true! we were charged for the full three days. We never checked in and they didnāt care that we moved the date to another time. We also have a cancellation number to prove that we canceled and MOVED the date. Needless to say, they donāt care they would rather lose business over then gain a new customer for the next four years. So much for being an Elite Titanium customer. Now I know how the really treat their loyal customers.
THE place to stay if visiting Tuscaloosa. Staff was all unbelievable from bar to front desk etc. rooms were stunning and modern. Very clean and even though it was a business trip it felt luxurious. Close walk from downtown with tons of great food options there! Gym was great too. Canāt wait to stay again once the rooftop is openā¦ thatāll bring this great spot to even the next level.
Best hotel to stay at in Tuscaloosa. Clean, friendly, great breakfast, great bar, and located next to Chuckās and other great restaurants. Iāll be back for sure.
