Their tow service is awful! Took six hrs for someone to come from a town only 35 miles away. When he came he still couldn’t find the address. My son had to meet him and we live in town. Aaa you got to do better.
I have been a customer of AAA since 2019. I called to add a car onto my policy on 5/22/24. Because it was 8 minutes before closing I was hung up on twice. I should have known that was a sign… 6 working days later, 5 agents later I still had no insurance on my new car. Nor did I even have a quote. The first agent, Andre didn’t call me back to let me know I needed to speak with my agent. I spoke to him first time on 5/23/24. I found out on 5/28/24. I next spoke with Brea 3 times on 5/29/24. The second time she told me two times she had never spoke to me when I had asked her name each time we spoke plus called her number. I then spoke to Janet the office manager who informed me I needed to speak with Brea to give her my info which I had already done on one of two of the other calls. The third call Brea got another agent named Susie to get on the call. That agent told me she would have to get someone else and she would transfer me. That call either dropped or I was hung up on. No one called back. I have even called the regional manager Amanda King whom still 2 days later has not returned my call. My agent Terry Hillman was stuck in Texas and depending on all others to take care of a simple transaction. She had absolutely nothing to do with any of this.
I called Triple A cause my car wouldn’t start and I was parked in a parking deck that told me they had no one to come tow me because I was in a parking deck that it would be morning before they could find someone. They also told me to ask the security officer for a jump start. I pay u for road side assistance and u left me to fend for my self. This is a terrible way to treat people.
My husband called to get roadside service today 8-9-2023 he needed a battery the dispatcher called someone in Clanton AL. the man called him and he said I don’t have any batteries but I will come jump you off then a little while later he called back and said I can’t get out of the parking lot my husband just told him to forget it and he had a client of ours to jump him off. I called roadside services back and the lady was very nice and said she would cancel himcand made notes of what I told her. If this is the way they respond when they are called to assist someone I do not want any part of this. Very disappointed we pay AAA and they use this kind of idiots. After my husband told them he needed a battery I thought they would bring a battery!
The agent was helpful and nice during the initial process, but my car insurance premium increased shortly afterwards. My insurance
agent won’t return my calls so I am definitely not renewing at a higher rate without an explanation.
