  1. Upon arrival the key did not work in the door so had to go back to the front to get this done. Entering the room their was dog poop and pee or some type of animal. There was dead bugs on the carpet and spiders in the bathtub so we did not take any showers we used the sink to clean. My dog got sick upon leaving so ended up taking my dog to the vet and found out there was a virus in the room. This one night visit at this extended stay was absolutely horrible. I went to check out and leave and their was no one at the desk, so I could not let anyone know of the conditions. I do not and absolutely would not recomment this hotel to anyone. Their is a hilton right down the street is much nicer and cleaner.

  2. They have a great team at the Huntsville Extended Stay America. The front desk and housekeeping staïŹ€ were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room itself was comfortable and exceptionally clean. All the plumbing worked perfectly and, in fact, better than they did at a Hilton property where I stayed recently! The kitchenette’s appliances were spotless and I was given a generous supply of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils to use. Wi-fi and TV service were just like home. I’d definitely stay here again! 🙂

  3. I want to start off by saying WOW! I was just incredibly happy with the service I received from Breann H. at this Huntsville location. I was here on vacation and let’s just say the entire trip was rocky. My initial hotel booking could not accommodate me and my partner AFTER we had already paid ahead. A total nightmare. With limited funds we had to find some place to stay at the last minute and she did a great job accommodating us. Such a sweet girl with a big personality. Literally could not stop laughing and we needed that. Thanks a lot.

  4. On arrival for our 2 night stay, we were greeted with a lovely, warm welcome from Estoria who, although we arrived early, was very kind and allowed us to check-in.
She also explained about the ‘Grab and Go’ Breakfast (we didn’t use so cannot comment on this) and later saw me and produced a box of kitchen essentials for me before I’d even asked for them. She was very helpful and it was appreciated!

On entering our room you could smell a definite hint of stale nicotine when you walked in and I got the impression this room hadn’t been used for some time?
I had booked a non-smoking room but was under the impression, on entering the lift, that the rooms were all non-smoking based on the notice in there, so can only assume that is enforced? (see photo). So, based on this I didn’t complain about the smell as it didn’t seem fresh and I am assuming the room is now non-smoking. The rooms also have non-smoking on the numbers too so it seems strange that if using ‘Booking com’ you can request a ‘smoking’ or ‘non-smoking’ room? So I don’t know if it is or isn’t a non-smoking estsblishment
 ConfusingđŸ€”
Not to be deterred, we walked in. The furniture in the room was old and worn and the kitchenette too showed signs of years of wear and tear. The room itself appeared to have what we needed and the stale smell was soon unnoticeable after being in the room for 2 minutes.
However, I did notice that the floor was very dirty but being tired and just wanting to settle in, I cleaned the floor myself with a wet cloth. The next morning I spoke with a nice lady in reception and asked if housekeeping would kindly mop the floor whilst we were out.
We returned later that evening and I assume the floor had been mopped as an envelope had been left. (see photo) Based on what was written about making the room “Guest Ready” I decided a tip wasn’t warranted as the room should’ve been clean before we arrived and even on leaving, the floor in this room is in need of a deep clean as socks and feet were still filthy walking on it.
Cleanliness was definitely lacking in our room.
Positives: The room was a good size and had what we needed to be self-sufficient and everything was functional and the same for the bathroom. The WiFi was good; The bed was clean and VERY comfortable and the pillows, I have to say, were pretty good compared to some we’ve had on this road trip.
I cannot fault the reception staff we’ve dealt with who were very friendly and accommodating.
Overall, this motel served its purpose for our stay due to its location but everything just felt ‘tacky’ to touch
. Switches, phone, alarm clock etc.
In my opinion this place could so easily be a really great stopover if rooms were ‘thoroughly’ cleaned.

  5. This is an older hotel. The cabinets in the kitchen are off centered, they don’t have a dish washe. it’s not bad a bad hotel just older. Our housekeeper Felicia did an outstanding job cleaning our room. She was very nice, bubbly personality and very kind. I would highly recommend asking for Felicia. It is located near the highway so it’s very convenient. The only reason I gave a three star is because it’s old and doesn’t have the amenities that other Extended Stays have,
Also, it’s very nice that offer complimentary laundry. They don’t charge for the use of the washer and dryer.
