1. Good hotel. Everything is clean and neat. Breakfast is included and offers several hot options, very well equipped also with sugar-free and fat-free options. The room is good size, has a fridge and a microwave. I would prefer to have pillows of different firm surfaces since all pillows are the same. The pool is clean and nice. There is a mini golf and a restaurant on the side. The parking lot is big. It is possible to walk to the university and other places nearby. At least on my room, the tube was higher than the floor level, so careful when you get out.

2. We visited a relative in Alabama and stayed at this hotel while visiting him. Let me tell you, the location was great, right near the university and all the action. The room was well appointed, clean, and orderly. Each and every interaction I or my family had with the staff was top-notch!! They are THE friendliest and most courteous I have ever encountered in my travels. I highly recommend staying at this location when in the Tuscaloosa area, and you will thoroughly enjoy your stay. For an added joy, visit the restaurant next door to the hotel, Baumgartner’s is the name I believe. Great food, decent prices, and excellent staff, a no-brainer in my book. Also, a 5 star establishment.

3. Curshawn was the BEST hotel agent! This weekend we drove cross country for a military move and were tired of all the dirty and discourteous hotels we had come across. We somehow found Hampton Inn Tuscaloosa University and Curshawn answered the phone. His kindness and professionalism literally made us drive further off the highway to get to his hotel location. Upon arrival, he gave us the most welcome reception and treated my family and me like royalty. We were sad to have to leave so soon but was the best hotel experience we have had! He went the extra mile and it meant a lot! I am a hotel snob and I would recommend this hotel to anyone any day because of Curshawn!

4. We were able to make reservations at short notice and they were dog friendly. There was a bit of a mixup where our first reservation was lost but it was sorted out.

5. Excellent hotel, location, service, and staff. I love that it’s very close to everything you need in the area. The business is clean, well-staffed, and all of the amenities are always in excellent working order. The rooms are quiet and peaceful, and there is no limit to what the staff will do to make you feel welcome and valued. FIRST CHOICE.
