1. My family and I have been staying at this hotel for months due to our house getting work on . I have experienced the staff stealing out our rooms more than once even while our belongings are put up out of sight , they were looking through everything when their jobs is to clean and get out. The managers didn’t do nothing but say keep your valuables on you next time what kind of service is that they don’t even have cameras on the hallways so nobody knows who is stealing and they still stealing out of other people rooms!! The Saraland location needs new management and to fire the person who is doing all this stealing my family isn’t the only ones there’s other guests in this hotel who says it’s always something going on at this location and that’s sad . Whoever owns this hotel really needs to come down and evaluate who they have as managers running things and need to fire the new hires they recently hired cause those are the one stealing from people . I wouldn’t recommend this place to nobody there stealing medicine from older people ,money, and earnings .

2. After a tree fell on our house so we could no longer stay at home. We were put up in this hotel. Besides a couple minor incidents in a three week stay. I’d have to say things went well. Friendly staff. Clean pool (deepest end was 4.5 feet deep), hot delicious breakfast every morning. I may never have a need to stay at a local hotel again, but if I do, Towne Place would be my first option.

3. If I could give them a zero I would. I have stayed here multiple times and all of a sudden today I show up to check in and I’m told my reservation has been cancelled because I’ve been added to their “do not rent” list. I’ve never had an issue in the times that I’ve visited as we come and stay when we’re in town for business. I didn’t even receive a phone call saying that my reservation had been cancelled. When I asked questions about the “do not rent” reasons I was told they were unable to give me that information and that they were following the managers instructions. I would say it’s a case of discrimination. I will be contacting corporate for Marriot first thing Monday morning!

4. Excellent stay! The rooms were clean, the staff was super friendly, to include every single one of the maids/housekeeping staff! Very pleased with this hotel. Was the carpet in our room and all around the building peaking up in places, sure, but given recent stays at other Marriot brands, I was beginning to consider other options. This may have saved all that. Breakfast was ok and coffee was hot…it’s a hotel, not a restaurant, so I’m good with that. Again super pleased with this stay.

5. Best room of our entire trip. Even though they had been struck by lightning recently, they still honored our reservation and we had a fantastic pet room, conveniently located near an exit with some of the easiest stairs I’ve ever climbed. Breakfast was good. They offered very good English tea so I switched after a cup of coffee, which was only OK, not great. Best part of the stay was the convenience of the room.
