  1. I signed up for the 7 day pass online. They called me to ask when I was coming in. Once I got there I had to wait for the person I talked to on the phone. I had to sit down and talk to them and they asked questions for about 10 minutes. After I was given a tour I was told that I had to sign up for a membership, but that I would be able to cancel within 5 days. This gym is very overcrowded and looks like it is never cleaned. There is hair and lint all over the floor. The bathroom is tiny and also disgusting. All the weights are so dirty they are sticky. This place is overpriced, not clean, and their sales tactics are very high pressure and misleading. I will be going elsewhere.

  2. I registered for a membership and 1 month personal training and they failed to tell me in person that there is a 4 month agreement to personal training. I did not read the fine print because they said canceling the membership was simple and no cancellation fees. It sounded great to me. I travel for work 60% of the time and said my schedule is hard to keep consistent and wanted to pay the 1st month as a trial for training. They did NOT mention a 4 month commitment. I would not have signed up for a membership and training in this way if I had all the information up front. I showed up for my first personal training appointment and scheduling with trainers were limited at the time that I wanted. The trainers were nice and said they would cancel it. I was happy to pay for first months sessions. Unfortunately they avoided talking the reality of things with me said they would take care of it on their end. Showed me that it was complete on their end and not to worry.

    What happened next is that corporate called me saying they couldn’t cancel it. It’s hard to understand how “easy” to cancel it is at the gym but in reality I feel information has been withheld. When I was at the gym they said it wouldn’t be a problem to cancel. Then I get a random call from corporate saying they couldn’t honor it. The gym crew said it would be fine. It’s not fine.

    Things should be clearly communicated at the time of sign up. I signed up in less than 30 min, which means things were not fully communicated on their end. I thought this was a very convenient gym based off my needs… they smile to your face but yet again limit their communication so they don’t have to deal with the results of my discomfort. I am a very reasonable and was willing to continue trying to schedule for the first month to meet what I agreed upon- 1 month (4 sessions).

    How am I supposed to feel comfortable even working out there knowing they are taking advantage of members without giving them all the details of cancelation.

    I hope they reconsider and communicate better. Again, traveling for work and working with them on getting this figured out is very discouraging. I’ve been a member for less than 20 days.

  3. I was SO ready to sign up until I walked into the pool area. The humidity and lack of ventilation was awful. You could smell the chlorine which means you are breathing in chlorine. I was only in there for less than a minute and couldn’t wait to get out of there. Staff here were great. Spoke with Jade and Ross. Very nice and respectful. This was my first choice of gyms to join. But I need to use the pool and these indoor pools are just awful. If you don’t want to pay for A/C and dehumidifiers then take off the roof area over the pool! You can put up a shade tarp that allows the outside air to circulate. I’m wondering why you are still using chlorine rather than a saltwater system? If EoS would fix their pool area, you would have SO MANY more people wanting to join. You would have something no other gym has. Like I said…this was my first choice. But the pool broke the deal.

  4. The childcare program is amazing! Our 3-year old loves going and has a wonderful time at the play center. The kids staff is amazing and truly cares about the kiddos. Love the variety of equipment – the size of the gym – and all the extras! We drive 35 mins to go to this gym – there are many others closer – but this one is WORTH IT. Come check it out!

  5. The billing system is sufficiently bad enough to justify NOT joining! My story: I was hacked and had to change my banking information. I discovered that there is no way to do it online. The app doesn’t have a phone number to call. I visited the gym and gave them the new account number. Four days later I was billed with the old one, which didn’t work. I then got an email notice with a bill that had a $25 late fee. The email had no phone number and no way to change my billing data. I found a phone number to the gym and the person said she’d put in a request to cancel the late fee. That there is NO email or phone number in either the app or online page is unforgivable.
