I’ve been moving into an apartment for two months. It has good neighborhoods, fast and professional maintenance, a nearby park, and location conditions that can be reached anywhere on foot. And the event for the residents moved me more.
In particular, it has been impressed as a convenient and user-friendly apartment because it provides a Latch and Resident app system with a smartphone.
We absolutely love living at Avalon La Jolla Colony! The community is incredibly cozy, well-maintained, and always clean. We feel very safe here, which is a big plus for our family. The nearby park is a fantastic feature, making it super convenient for families with kids—our children adore it.
The amenities are top-notch as well. The swimming pool, spa, and fitness center are always clean and in excellent condition, making it easy to enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle. The office staff and maintenance team are always helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond to ensure that any concerns are addressed promptly, which makes living here even more enjoyable.
The lease process is super convenient, from the self-guided tours and fast application process to settling down. Every step is self-paced and digital, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free.
Overall, Avalon La Jolla Colony has everything we could ask for in a community. Our family loves it here, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!
I lived in Avalon La Jolla Colony for about 5 years and generally loved it. This rental property seems to be one of the best in the La Jolla Colony with well maintained commumity and units. The service requests were always answered promptly and Horacio had always been friendly and helpful. I wish he also takes of my current home lol. Angie and Daniel were always responsive and helpful, too.
I take one star off because my unit, although on top floor, could hear mild noise from my downstairs neighbors. TV sound and sometimes snoring. There was a particular several months during which my sleep was affected because of the snoring. Luckily the dude moved away. I complained a few times but Avalon could not do much, which is sort of understandable. I wish the sound barrier could be better in the buildings though.
Another thing I did not like was the loud noise of grass maintenance every Thur, but that depends on the unit and window directions, may not apply to all tenants.
Overall I liked the experience of living there, and hope the best for everyone there.
I have lived here for several months now and love it! It is a beautiful property which is well-maintained with lots of greenery and shops within walking distance. The front office team is excellent – very helpful, friendly and responsive. It is definitely one of the best places I have ever lived. It makes such an impact on your life when you are happy in your home…
Avalon La Jolla Colony is a fantastic community because of fabulous front-office professionals like Angie! Her word has been consistently gold when discussing any issue(s) together—you are a class act! The same goes for Alex and the entire maintenance crew. Safe, clean, and near all the shopping, hospitals, and scenery. This community has my highest recommendation.
