  1. I have been to multiple Crunch’s in the Bay Area and I’ve called the Daly City location my home gym for about a year now, and it’s sad to say that recently the price to quality ratio has grown wider.

With a recent 10% price increases for this location if you come for body building machines it is no longer worth the price of admissions. I have seen throughout the year Crunch management neglect the upkeep and quality of multiple machines for triceps, back, and bicep. For example the whole gym has one peck deck machine and durning peek hours some machines are impossible to use. While five new very expensive treadmills were installed.

If you come to the gym just to run on a treadmill. This is the place for you, but if you’re looking for good quality, bodybuilding, machines or seat availability next to the free weights, you’re better off somewhere else.

  2. Crunch allowed someone to sign over my account information to themselves without my permission or proper identification. Through the process of trying to figure out what’s wrong, the front desk and manager staff was rude beyond belief and hung up the phone in my face. Save yourself the trouble, this gym is not worth the privacy issues and the staff that acts like they’re above you when they’re unable to follow their own policy appropriately.

  3. The gym is good, but the front desk staff is not friendly. I feel discriminated against. As a new member, I signed up for a class, but my name wasn’t on the sign-up sheet. When I asked the lady at the front desk where I could sign, she gave me a look. I go there every morning, and when I greet her and another guy, they don’t say hi back to me. This makes me feel uncomfortable. I’m not here for you to give me attitude.

  4. Heads up if you’re not a “signature” member it’s an extra $10 to enter this crunch location for regular members. This location has a sauna. The bathroom and showers are relatively clean. They also provide complimentary towels.

  5. Two of friends got a membership in here and Alan gave me 5 day pass to workout in this gym. When I came with my friend to workout there was a guy who didn’t let me go because he said that those pass only Alan can activate it. The Chinese dude who was wearing nose piercing has to be the dumbest guy in the whole Daly City. You should definitely learn how to speak with customers!!!
