The Eighth and Grand Apartments likely refer to a high-end residential complex with both profitability and security. Located in a prominent area, these apartments may offer prime views, luxury finishes, modern amenities, and exclusive features that cater to affluent clients seeking a premium living experience. With potential for rental income generation and strong property value retention, these apartments contribute to investor appeal and resident convenience. Detailed information about location, pricing, and specific amenities would provide further insight into market competitiveness and lifestyle offerings. However, meticulously summarizing the full context within 100 words requires concise representation of key attributes and appeal.

We visited Eighth and Grand Apartments for our daughter. Our first impression was that this apartment complex was well maintained and managed. Our leasing consultant Linda was professional and informative. We enjoyed our time and tour. The apartment is centrally located to make your lifestyle more comfortable. The Eight and Grand Apartment complex prices are standard for the area. We thought it was a good place and a great location.
Please do NOT rent here. My experience has been absolutely horrific from the start. From untreated roach infestations to stolen packages, poor security, dirty, overcrowded halls, 24/7 broken elevators and gates, the management is atrocious and NEEDS to be addressed.
My car was broken into at the beginning of my lease and despite their being an abundance of signs in the parking garage claiming to have cameras, upon asking security for the footage to file a report, I was told there aren’t actually any. I was told that a porter would come and clean the glass from my car’s broken window, and here I am almost a year later with glass remains STILL at my spot.
The gates/elevators are quite literally broken 24/7. If you choose to move in here, 90% of your lease term will be spent with one elevator for, quite literally, the entire apartment. Not to mention one gate is always broken as well.
The management also has done nothing about USPS/Amazon dropping YOUR PACKAGES all over the unlocked parcel room. They’re supposed to be in lockers, yet nobody listens, and the management has done ZERO to prevent this from happening. I have had COUNTLESS packages stolen from me during my stay here.
The last thing you want in your apartment is roaches. My apartment is literally spotless, there is never food out, never a mess, and certainly nothing to attract roaches. However, for the past THREE MONTHS I have dealt with an infestation coming from god knows where. I filled out the paperwork for an exterminator to come, they come a week later and claim they can’t finish the job and will come back next week. They don’t show up. I fill out another form, they don’t show up. I approach the front desk and ask for the copies of my forms to prove I submitted them, and somehow they don’t have them. How unorganized can you be?
This apartment is horrific for the price. Nothing is worth it. Every elevator is a trek to get to because they crowd 100 units onto every floor, there are always spills, hair, pills, food, etc. in the hallways, the front desk is rude and inconsiderate, this place is horrific. Take your money elsewhere, PLEASE do not rent here.
I have lived in a lot of different apartments across the country but I never came across an agent who is as kind, personable and accommodating as Linda. My husband and I moved from Seattle a few weeks back and Linda has been nothing but helpful and patient throughout the process. She has gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy — with practically everything from the apartment to parking to the little details. She is resourceful and a true advocate for the resident, and I cannot be more grateful for all her support! There are people who are there to do their job and there are others who do so while cultivating trust, and Linda is definitely the latter. Additionally, a huge shout out to Dom for all the times he has stepped in during Linda’s absence and has been equally accommodating to all our needs! The apartment itself is also great and we are happy with the central location, the amenities and the overall community. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone moving to DTLA and make sure to ask for Linda or Dom and you’ll be well taken care of!
I would not recommend the apartment on the 2nd floor. It frequently has an unpleasant smell from the nearby pet grooming area and open space. People who live in apartments small dogs pee all over the place. Very unpleasant! Additionally, the patio is not usable, making it difficult to invite guests. It seems like the management is only focused on collecting the monthly rent.
DO NOT RENT HERE!
BAD PROPERTY MANAGEMENT STAFF!
Man, this place is like a bad joke that keeps getting worse. Remember when the biggest problem was deciding which awesome amenity to use first? Now it’s more like playing apartment roulette.
Wanna leave the building? Flip a coin to see if the garage gate’s working. Feeling lazy? Take the stairs, ’cause those elevators are more temperamental than a cat in a bathtub. And don’t even think about hitting the gym unless you’re into vintage, broken equipment.
But hey, who needs a working building when you’ve got an impromptu dog park in every hallway? Nothing says “home sweet home” like the lovely aroma of Fido’s forgotten business, am I right?
It’s like the management team packed up and left without telling anyone. Maybe they’re on a permanent vacation, sipping mai tais while we’re stuck in this glorified storage unit with doors.
So, if you’re browsing apartments and see this place pop up, do yourself a favor: run. Run far, run fast. Unless you enjoy living in a sitcom where nothing works and the laugh track is just the sound of your own frustrated sighs.
Me? I’m counting down the days till I can wave goodbye to this circus. Time to find a pad where “functional” isn’t considered a luxury feature!
