  1. Iā€™ve had an exceptional experience with Kimberly, one of the massage therapists at the spa. I see her weekly because she is the only practitioner able to release my muscle tension effectively. Kimberlyā€™s skill and professionalism have earned my complete trust, and I always leave feeling rejuvenated and cared for. Highly recommend!

  2. Iā€™ve been a member for 3 years. Most of the staff are friendly and professional but there are a handful of trainers that are super rude. Specifically the ones who donā€™t like to share the gym with members not opting for personal training. Also they stand like in major walkways and the most annoying filming their social media content in the middle of the way like its their personal studio. All this is super off-putting and I think we pay too high a membership fee to deal with employees egos.

Secondly thereā€™s always something broken/ dirty the porters have tunnel vision and donā€™t clean everything and theyā€™re kind of rudeā€¦especially in the locker room and showers.

    Gonna try Barryā€™s again. āœŒļø

  3. I really love this gym. I think it has a lot of character. I love how they kept a lot of pre-existing architectural and design aspects that were part of the building when it was originally a theater.
The bathrooms seem clean. The workout facilities seem clean as well.
Iā€™ve taken one Vinyasa yoga class, and the instructor was very helpful.

I had an appointment with Simon for a massage with cupping yesterday in the spa. It was a wonderful experience I would highly recommend.

  4. Pros: price of admission is steep so you donā€™t get any sketchadoos that you see in cheaper gyms. Locker room is nice and overall the gym seems clean and smells nice. Oh and the chilled eucalyptus towels are a nice touch.

Cons: price of admission is steep. Gym appears big (4 floors!) but yet thereā€™s not a lot of workout space and itā€™s ALWAYS packed. Iā€™m *always* waiting to use something whether it be a squat rack, a bench or really anything else. Itā€™s comically packed full of people. Itā€™s also hot and humid AF in there. Iā€™m sure itā€™s by design.

I kept my membership for about a year but recently terminated it because nothing there justifies almost $300 a month, especially when youā€™re constantly waiting for equipment.

  5. Equinox gyms are always reliable and clean. I love my all access pass. This location isnā€™t a great value because of the small size, but the amenities and trainers are amazing. Always made me look forward to working out. Private Pilates with John helped me achieve my health goals and kept me feeling great through 9 months of pregnancy, even with an old hip injury.
