I want to highly commend Lewis and Lewis Mexican Insurance Company for their excellent personalized service. I’ve just renewed with them for the 23rd year, and their agent Osman lived up to the company’s high standards by his helpfulness, including sending me my documents both as hard copy by mail and by email. When a hurricane damaged my car while in summer storage in Mexico about 15 years ago, the company was prompt in assessing the damage and sending me photos of it. The repairs cost within a few dollars of their estimate and they paid me right away, even accepting the receipt written by hand on a page torn out of a school notebook by the local Mexican worker who did the repairs for me. The company deserves the good reputation that it’s had for many years amongst my fellow Canadians and Americans who use their cars in Mexico each year. Chris Bradley, BC
For years I’ve use Lewis and Lewis for my Mexican Auto Insurance. They have always been responsive, reasonably priced and available. While I haven’t tested their insurance (no accidents) I will feel comfortable when and if that happens. My most recent communications with Osman have been tip top and honest.
I used Lewis & Lewis for the first time for a trip to Mexico with our church. Last minute I was told I didn’t need to drive. I reached out to them to inquire if there would be anyway to cancel the policy and receive a refund as it was no longer needed. Not only was it super easy to get through to someone on the phone who gave me clear directions on how to formally make the request but Osman promptly responded to my email and took care of it. I honestly thought it would be a hassle or something they just wouldn’t accommodate but the complete opposite was true! Such a great experience. Will definitely use them in the future for further insurance needs for sure! Thank you Osman!
Only giving a 4 out of 5 because I don’t know how my parent’s first interaction with the company went.
I called in to see about renewing my parents insurance policy, Osman was great! Made sure to provide me with the different renewal options that they had available and was patient while I communicated the information to my parents.
When my vehicle wasn’t approved to take across the boarder, Osman was great at helping me solve my problem. The agency was able to cancel and refund me for the unused policy. I will definitely purchase from them again (when my vehicle is allowed). Thank you!!!
