1. This is an example of you get what you pay for. Kind of creepy that they have a fence around the cars but in that area I suppose it’s necessary.

   I was extremely disappointed that after having a reservation made online that they charged me a $50 deposit on the room! That says a lot in itself and supposedly returned in 3 to 5 days I’m still waiting. I’ve never had to pay a deposit!

   I did get a handicapped room but when I got into the room there was a puddle of water that it’s underneath the door right by the door. Definitely a slip hazard.

   The handicap room is very nice however the curvature of the bottom of the floor of the shower is extremely dangerous, slippery. Even though it has a bar on the shower getting out of the shower was very dangerous. There is tile in both the shower and on the floor when wet becomes like ice very slippery.

   I will say that they did get a chair for me for the desk but I didn’t need it and in the handicap room they frequently don’t have one so that wheelchair people can just use the desk without a chair.

   They did offer to take my suitcase which was quite large. It wasn’t actually heavy so I was able to do it myself.

   They did offer to get me towels to put on the floor to clean the mess. However it was already late and I was really tired so I declined.

   Strange enough the bed is not secured, meaning the mattress is not secured to the frame and so it moved over about 4 in when I was trying to get out of the bed!

   As a person with mobility issues, I’ve never had that happen before . It was difficult to get out of the bed.

   When I eventually got everything packed up and was ready to go there was no one in the office for quite a while in the morning. Then when a person did arrive they decided it was more important to talk to somebody that they knew who drove in and it was to attend to me. I just wanted to get on the road again.

   I specifically chose this place because it was the least expensive that I was able to access in that area. The fact that the guy checking me and said oh your room is 151.00 I said no way!

   I said I already paid the price, gave the credit card number to the third party vendor. I shouldn’t have another charge! If they treat people like this on any internet reservation this is scary.

   The fact that they held my money and haven’t yet returned it to the credit card is disturbing and probably illegal.

   I would not recommend this hotel.

2. The rooms are clean, big enough for our needs and housekeeping is very attentive to guests needs.
   Front desk staff is personable and does everything they can to ensure a seamless check in and stay.
   Pet friendly! We have a large dog and this was the first place to welcome him with open arms. There’s a small area for pets to potty, it’s always clean and trash bags are provided for your pets waste.
   There’s coin laundry available and a small area with an ice machine and snacks.

3. They’ve been beyond helpful and accommodating the whole time, room is nice, hot water, cold ac, everything. Plus being pet friendly is a big plus since me and my wife travel with our dog. Overall a pleased experience and I recommend this particular Motel 6 as a great place for you and your furry friends

4. My husband and I found this hotel on Travelocity for $80, which was fine b/c we just needed a place to sleep after getting there late and having to get up early for a sporting event. Almost every other hotel that we found anywhere nearby was at least $100.
   When we arrived it was a little worrisome because there was a security guard and gates to the parking lot, but the nice man at the desk told me that was because the hotel had been recently purchased by owners who were trying to get this hotel up to better standards after it had been used as somewhat of a “very low income housing area for people living there for extended times”. So now they do not allow people just walking/driving around wherever if you are not a customer.
   Our room was on the second floor and was very clean! I always check for bedbugs, even in top of the line hotels, and was glad to see one of the fully surrounded mattress covers on our bed. I slept great, water was hot in the shower, and there was a flat screen TV, a large microwave, and a large dorm size refrigerator and freezer. Pool looked beautiful and clean, although we did not have time to swim.
   It was quiet last night and this morning, and my only complaint was that the bathroom door did not shut well, but just needs to be sanded down a bit on the edge.

   All in all, it was good for the money and I would stay again if I needed a quick stop. Thanks, Motel 6!

5. Only issue I saw was tape up on the shower head and some paint stain on the floor. Really though, for the price and emergency availability to just get some sleep while traveling, these are very minute things. Very clean, quiet and comfortable.
