The front desk staff was nice and was a great introduction to the place. After leaving the front desk the stay went downhill a little. There does seem to be a lack of communication between staff. The front desk thought house keeping was complete when they weren’t and we had housekeeping knocking on our door prior to checkout including at 1030am when checkout is 11am.
Since it was just cleaned the room had an overwhelming smell of bleach. I have a sensitivity and it was unbearable initially. I had to leave the front door open for a bit to air out. I have been in other hotel/motel rooms where they have been recently cleaned but this was a whole new level.
The shower took a while to get the hang of getting the right temperature and the knobs were fairly squeaky and it would have been nice to have some shelves to put toiletries on vs the floor.
Did appreciate there was a fridge and microwave in the room but note that it is a mini fridge so the freezer portion is nearly non existent.
Overall the room was okay. There are some nicer motels in the area and there are some worse ones including the motel next door.
An amazing location near downtown for those who like a walk or a cheap Uber. It is clear that they are working on improving the space post pandemic. But the staff are down to earth and very chill. And this is a great affordable option near Palm Springs nightlife. Support a local business that is working to make itself better every day and provided me excellent service when I stayed there for over a week.
Second time staying here, and I really enjoyed it both times…pool is great, and the rooms are a little run down, but it looks like they are bouncing back! They are getting upgraded….ample parking is good and it’s so close to everything.
Will more than likely come back…as I did enjoy it here
Manager was extremely helpful and nice. Good atmosphere, clean rooms (there was some leftover food in our mini fridge but we only used it for drinks so I didn’t care)
Only reason I didn’t give it 5 is because the room could’ve been cleaned better and the renovation looks great but was hurriedly finished but hey I know it’s hard to get that stuff handled but suggestion to have maintenence go back thru one by one and tighten up the fixtures and nail in the nails on the walls. But we do like it here good vibe.
