  1. Just joined the Adult Exercise Class at the Fitness Center. Open to the public, no membership required. Great class for stretching, movement, balance, & general health. Work with body weight, small weights, balls, can be done sitting. Folks are friendly & non-judgmental, have made me feel at home. Think this will be a great help in dealing with my weak left side & balance.

  2. I am cleared to do water exercise. This Y has several forms offered. There are 2 coaches presenting programs Monday through Friday. . The pool is wonderfully warm for therapeutic exercise. Prattville has another Y also. It offers more programs for other purposes. Both are available to all Prattville YMCA members. I love the variety of programs. I feel there is something here for everyone. The building is well maintained and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

  3. The most unorganized with youth volleyball we have ever incountered. The youth didn’t get their own court, unless your in there and friends w the youth sports director Justin. Different teams had to share a court, and then the pca teams coach and regular coaches will have her children running laps jumping parents feet around the whole gym, when all 4 teams are having to share 2 courts.(yes laps for kids 6 to 9 as if they are in high school) If you say anything then your the bad guy. Truly the worst for volleyball, maybe a new director could straighten this up. No organization, hard to figure out which side of the court your team plays on when for practice, and even them it is subject to change if the coaches who have been there before you decide so. We won’t mention how they don’t teach children at this ymca true values of fun, sport, Christ like attributes, and team work. Better off going to Grandview or Montgomery for fair sportman like conducts and the real values that ymca is known for.
