  1. The location is great – walking distance to downtown Palm Springs and the grounds are well maintained – awesome pools and even a cold plunge for guests!

The rooms are in very rough shape and are not accurately shown on the website. Several people in our group (including myself) had several issues with basic room functions, including flooding due to poor shower drainage. The grounds are great but wouldn’t stay here again.

  2. Checkin – the guy that checked us in was rude and least welcoming we’ve experienced on our trip so far. Not explaining the other fees we had to pay when we arrived and making it difficult to use my own card as the booking was in my partners name.

Location – good you can walk to the restaurants / bars in down town.

Pool – there are 3 pools of which are clean & comfortable sun beds.

Rooms – large in size however, not properly cleaned from the previous stay we had liquid marks still on our bedside tables. The whole room feels like it hasn’t had a deep clean at all.

Bathroom – awful. The shower and overall bathroom is 2* at best. Very old and run down / dirty feeling. The worst we’ve stayed in on our 2 week road trip.

Bar service. The guy at the pool is helpful however, entire resort has ran out of lager. It’s happy hour 3-6 with rotating lagers reduced to $6 each. Asked for one and he said they’d ran out. Could only offer me a light lager in terms of alcohol % and not included in the discounted drinks.

Overall not satisfied at all with this hotel.

  3. Great location in Palm Springs, great views and nice property. It’s a definite 4 star hotel as it’s presented. What made it a 5 star experience for me was the staff! Kailey was amazing to deal with, very nice very understanding and accommodating. The valet guys were also amazing very helpful and quick. Also the bartenders are super friendly and cool at the chichi. So if you can’t make up your mind where to stay this is a great place that won’t disappoint. (Also they quickly notified us about items we let behind and nothing was missing, thank you for that)

  4. Like many of the other reviews, the website has false advertising making this place look like a luxury boutique. I took many of the reviews with a grain of salt and just figured people we being too picky. Well, I was wrong. To begin with a positive, yes the location is fantastic. Walkable to the downtown area. Other than that, the hotel is dated and dirty. Carpet is ripped up, holes in the walls with bad patch jobs, mold in the bathrooms and overall just dirty. We checked in to a standard room and noticed a few ants crawling on the toilet and sink vanity, not a huge deal but then looked down to the floor and there were hundreds. Immediately went to the front desk and they moved us to a suite with no questions asked. Great! We get to the room and same issue, ants everywhere! We had planned to stay for 4 nights however, cancelled our reservation and went elsewhere. I do not recommend this hotel. The service was good and staff were understanding of the situation.

  5. The room was nothing like what was advertised. Unbelievably uncomfortable bed, plastic motel style shower (and not in a cool, retro way…) and view of a concrete / high traffic sidewalk. The decor consists of black masking tape and a ceiling rosette stuck on the wall. Super disappointing room and nothing like its super chic sister hotel in Beverley Hills. This is a four star price for a one star room.
