Just love The Island Hideaway! From the wait staff (shout out to Charlie!) to the atmosphere and then finally the *food*! Highly Recommend! 5 Stars all the way around!
The homemade pasta is delicious and desirable, the crab dip had too much Old Bay seasoning. Overall a good time with good company. I recommend making reservations as overhearing customers walking away stating wait times of almost two hours on a Saturday evening.
Great food and great atmosphere. It’s situated right on a marina so you can watch the boats. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The food is on the pricey side but delicious. I had the surf and turf burger and blueberry lemon cheesecake stuffed cake for dessert. Both were very good.
What an amazing meal! I saw the Valentines Day specials and had to make a reservation. They did not disappoint! We had almost every dish on the specials menu (minus the branzino) and they were all spot on! The shrimp cocktail was huge, the oysters were fabulous, and the bisque was beyond words. I ordered the lobster thermador, and my husband and oldest son ordered the filet Oscar. They were all spectacular and the portions were perfect. Both filets were cooked perfectly, as was the lobster. The kids meals were also wonderful and well worth the money. The cocktails were tasty and we ended the night with dessert. We ordered the keylime pie and chocolate creme brulee, again, both were phenomenal. We ordered a 2nd keylime pie. The thing that put the experience over the top was the service. The waitress (I don’t recall her name but I think she had a batman tattoo on her arm) was great. She was on top of drinks, checked back frequently, and made sure we had everything we needed. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, especially for a local restaurant. Kudos to the chef and staff. We will be back. Keep the specials coming!
