1. Price things wrong and refuse to honor the price they have posted. I had to pay 29 extra dollars for shoes because they don’t know how to do their jobs. They charged me 60$ for each of these even though all of them were marked down.

   Edit: I went back later in the day and explained what happened and the lead and manager were very nice and professional and apologized to me and refunded the difference. I really appreciate their help and I have changed my rating because of it. The woman who rang me up originally was awful and rude but they really made up for it.

2. Neat clean store, with a variety of brand names.Stock was low and items was misplaced such as boys racks in mens , Magellan where Columbia should be and new brands such as HEy dude was overpriced and hardly no sizes or styles to choose from . Hardly no Atlanta Braves apparel to choose from

3. Regardless of what they say, they do not match their own online prices. They will give you every excuse not to even when it is the exact same product. First, the lady said it’s probably an online only price, but when I showed her the boot online and that it was the price even for pick up then she gave me another excuse saying that it has to be a different item and that the SKU numbers were different even though it was the only kind of boot like it in the store! It’s ridiculous. They will look you right in the face and tell you any reason they can think of just to charge more even though they say that they do match their online prices. They absolutely do not.

4. I tried to take back a bicycle inner tube today. It was 63 days, they refused to refund my $10.89, because I was 3 days late. Academy lost all my business over $11. I advise others to go to Wiley’s Outdoor, which is 3 miles down the road, locally family owned, and reasonable with how they treat customers.

5. Got to the store for my son some baseball cleats. They had some under armor ones on sale that we really liked. We found a box that was as a 5.5 which is the size we needed, but the box only had one cleat. I found a worker to see if maybe the other cleat was in then back. She told me no, but she would check. She was gone a few minutes and came back to inform me no it wasn’t back there. She said this happens sometimes bc parents let there children play in the boxes and just put them wherever.
   Me and my son went through the boxes with no luck of finding the other cleat.
   I took the box with the one cleat up to checkout and asked if they could possibly order me another set of cleats and I would come pick them up when they came in. She told me no they don’t do that I’d have to order them on my own. Then asked me if wanted to return the box I had. I had to explain to her I didn’t purchase them, I WANTED to purchase them but couldn’t bc they both were not there. She just said ok.

   The shoe isles were very messy, boxes everywhere on the shelves so no wonder you can’t find anything. Customer service wasn’t very helpful. Very dissatisfied in my experience at Academy.
