1. If I could give one star for this room I would. Stayed in room 1212 and it was horrifying from the start. When we first walked in the place smelled like old fish and cigarettes. Kitchen was a disaster covered in coffee and food. Living room rug should be thrown out as it had not been vacuumed or cleaned in probably years! Bath mat was dirty and not washed between guests. Bathroom showers have mold as well as the kitchen sink. This is embarrassing and the hosts should be ashamed of themselves to even allow such a disgusting atmosphere. Food was in the bed under the supposedly clean sheets. Then they expect us to pay a cleaning fee when I wasted my entire first night cleaning this place. Their cleaning company wasn’t notified about the filth until 5pm the following day proving it’s not a priority for them when I expressed my concerns immediately upon arrival. Oh but the cockroach on our balcony and heroin needle in the parking garage takes the cake! DO NOT STAY HERE especially if your value your health, your children’s health, time and money.

2. Looks like this place is hit or miss depending on who you rent your unit through. We rented 1002 on Airbnb from Vacasa Alabama and it was great. Room was clean – definitely some maintenance issues which need to be addressed – and I didn’t like the fact I had to pay for $50 parking separately (regardless of stay length). Pools were good – very little shade however – and the close proximity to the beach can not be beat. Our unit did not provide any “beach stuff” i.e. blanket, chairs, towels or cooling, however you can rent two chairs and an umbrella on the beach for $45 a day. Building felt safe as well. I would go back.

3. They have covered parking which was nice and it was always easy to find good parking. The lady who checked us in was not welcoming and even a bit short with us, luckily we never had to interact with the staff afterwards.
   We booked the penthouse #3. Our room felt outdated, it did have an amazing view of the beach and easy access to it. The room looked clean, besides the bathrooms which were dirty and had mold. Our balcony furniture was also ripped. I expected better considering this is a penthouse, I did like the size of the kitchen and that we had a laundry room.

   The location is pretty centralized but definitely not walkable to nearby shops. We even tried bicycling and that was a lot.

   Overall these condominiums are decent.

4. We rented a unit through Airbnb, hosted by Liquid Life. The room was clean, that’s going to depend on your individual owner/host, not really anything Lighthouse can do about that. When you arrive you must check in at an office in the parking garage for your parking pass. The officer was pleasant. The parking pass is $50. Parking was easy and elevators were fairly quick. Balcony had a great view. The pools were great but definitely not very clean. So many dead bugs and hair etc floating. Seriously, we bought a little net at the dollar store to skim. If you’re a pool person it will drive you crazy. The water was clear, however. We never saw anyone cleaning them. I’m assuming they do it at night or before 7:00am. We didn’t use the indoor pool but it was pretty sad looking. There are plenty of chairs at the pool, but zero umbrellas. No shade until late afternoon. Gym was a handful of machines but it was workable. Beach access is amazingly close and easy. Overall, a good trip and would probably stay again. No onsite restaurants or bars but lots of nearby stores and restaurants. There was some construction noise while we were there, but not unbearable. There are beach chairs and umbrellas for rent or you can bring your own. If you bring your own look up the local rules for beach canopies. They want them low and behind a certain point so lifeguards can see over them.

5. Great Location! Great amenities with 3 pools, 1 indoor, hot tub and sauna inside the small exercise area. Easy access to the beach that is approximately 30 yards from the condo.
