Although you were not my agent, you were still involved in the transaction. When both parties agree on terms, the expectation is to be promptly informed of any changes that may affect the agreement. If there was an event that could alter the agreement, it should have been immediately relayed and not shared 24-72 hours before the closing date. As a result of this, I had to forfeit $2,500.
I have worked with my agent on a few deals, and they have always been excellent.
Derrick is a very thorough and customer service oriented Realtor. We work together regularly, and he is his client’s biggest advocate and really goes above and beyond to make the home buying process as easy as possible for them. Highly recommend!
When I first spoke with Derrick on becoming my Realtor, I was ready to buy but there were things that would’ve hindered that prices of me becoming a homeowner. Derrick took his time to speak with me on things I needed to do to get me better prepared to be that homeowner. It’s been years, life has been happening, and I’m still getting things together but there’s not one email he’s failed to send me, he keeps in touch with me, still making sure I get where I need to be by sharing very helpful information with me just to be a successful person in general. He is so upfront and honest! Maybe other realtors I’ve know will try shoving you into a mortgage just to get a sale but not Derrick. The professionalism, love for his job and people sold me to him years ago.
