  1. Nordstrom rack is a great place to shop. From high end clothing shoes and bags, to reasonably priced seasonal pieces to perk up your wardrobe. One of my favorite places for great athletic clothing and shoes. at really great prices. Thereā€™s also a reward system you can subscribe to and I occasionally get five or $10 off my purchase based on that. I love The Rack! Give yourself time to browse!

  2. So, Iā€™ve been tryung to fund out where Nordstrom Rack had relocated in the Summit for a minute. šŸ˜†So on New Yearā€™s Day, I decided to drive around again to scope it out! It seems it is located in the far back right hand corner of the Summit. So when you are driving from Belks, keep driving pass the AMC Theater and Taco Momma and then make a right and BAM you will see Nordstrom Rack! šŸ˜This store is just about the same size or a little bigger than the other store. The prices are the sane and of course the same merchandise, so nothing new to report here. There is plenty of parking. The only difference is the checkout counter is located in the front of the store to your left instead of in the back.
.If you havenā€™t visited the new location, check it out, it is nice!šŸ‘šŸ‘ŠšŸ™Œ

  3. Store very nice, items neatly arranged. Staff happy, but what got me, I made a return, Associate gave my total on new purchase, I tried to use a gift she stated She need a bar code to scan when I know the instructions states key in gift card number but thatā€™s nothing. I made a return, cashier put my new Tom Ford shades in the old bag I brought in. No new bag with new purchase ? Or maybe she was moving fast. Regardless of what u donā€™t want your customers walking out the store with a used bag coming out a high end store.

  4. I can handle mistakes and broken product, but I canā€™t handle rude, dismissive employees.

    The Backstory:
I went on a cruise this week. I didnā€™t have any pool/beach shoes because my house burned down a couple of months ago. Before we left for the cruise, I stopped by a Nordstrom Rack in New Orleans to buy a pair of pool shoes.(it was the only store around) I settled for some EVA Birkenstocks. Once we got on the ship, my friend and I peeled the Nordstrom price stickers off of the footbed of the shoes. We were bummed to see that the sticker peeled the logo off of the footbed, but it didnā€™t really matter.

An hour later I went to put on my new Birkenstocks to go to the pool. To my disappointment, I discovered that one of the shoes was missing a buckle. super let down, I put the shoes back in the bag and wore my tennis shoes for the entire week at the pool and beach.

When I arrived back in New Orleans, the Nordstrom store was closed, so I was forced to return my shoes in Birmingham, where I live.

    The Birmingham Store Story:
My son and I drove 30 minutes, in the rain, down 280 to return my broken birkenstocks. When I arrived at the counter, I pulled the shoes out, told the cashier what happened, and told her I needed a refund.

The cashier went over and got her manager. The manger walked up to the register, glanced at the shoes, cut her eyes at me, and said ā€œI canā€™t return those.ā€ I flipped over the shoes, showed her that the bottoms were new and they had not been worn. She rolled her eyes at me and stared at me for a few seconds. I told her that their price sticker had peeled off the logo on the footbed when I removed it. I assured her that they had never been worn and were broken when I bought them.

The manager blew her breath, told the associate to ā€œjust return themā€ and walked off. The sales associate finished the transaction, didnā€™t say a word to me, and handed me my receipt. I had to ask her if the money had been returned to the card because she wouldnā€™t even look at me.

I had planned to shop around the store after making my return, but the manager here made sure Iā€™ll never be back. I walked next door and spent my money at REI instead.

This store hasnā€™t been open long enough to have such terrible customer service. Hope you guys can find a new manager before you have to close your doors. People donā€™t forget being crapped on.

  5. The Summit has been through alot with this space as this was originally Brunoā€™s with the REI Space which it closed in 2009 or 2010 and Toys R us took in and the store has to be torn apart in 2011 and opened in 2011 and the store closed in early 2018 and the store had to be torn apart and gutted again and divided for the REI and Nordstrom Rack Space which Nordstrom Rack used to be at the River Ridge until 2023

    This store is awesome
