  1. Gold has a great platform and wonderful facilities to work out in… maybe some basic gym etiquette rules posted in multiple languages, including the new Gen Z language so they don’t keep sitting on equipment while on their phones as there’s a line amassing waiting to lift. Also some pool rules enforced for older people who like to bathe and stand the swim lanes… maybe the 25 minute timer for people to get their laps in. Basic gym etiquette, we’re taught in actual gym class. Otherwise, wonderful spread of weight training equipment.

  2. Been a member here for a year and definitely the best experience I have had at any gym! Even when it is busy you can find a way to get your workout in. Recommend it to all my friends when they ask for a great place to workout!

  3. Significant improvement over the 24 Hr Fitness that was here, formerly with it’s antiquated equipment.
I worked out here then and just returned to check out the make over now, with a considerably better experience!
The rooms were cleaned up, with portions renovated. The equipment was completely replaced as a brand new gym. Tho not exactly up to par with the facilities and equipment as the more renowned corporate gym in Venice of LA, which is worth it’s weights in Golds™.
Still, for the introductory rate and regular membership costs, it’s a good deal for the money!
There’s adequate free parking up front and to the side.

  4. Unsafe, dirty, and machines/equipment are constantly broken. Trainers here are unenthusiastic and will not care for your form and how you execute your workouts.

This gym allows gang members to wear their gang-related shirts and apparel in groups without any regard to possible safety issues. “Mongols”, “F* 81”, “1%er” shirts are visible almost every day. Good thing theres no hell’s angels gang members that work out here bc there would have been a brawl, maybe even a shootout.

Equipments are constantly broken and never fixed. Ive seen a machine remain broken for over 6months despite my requests to fix & alerting the front desk.

This gym also has the worst shower heads and faucets— they all have a stupid low-flow nozzle that barely deliver any water… i can PEE faster than these faucets and shower heads.

Sauna is unisex and barely accommodates 8-10 people. Constantly packed like sardines in a can.

The trainers here are unethusiastic and unhelpful with their training sessions. Barely any instruction and support for form check and execution. Save your money and dont sign up for these sessions.

The only good thing about this gym is the price and location.
