I stayed here during a competition and the service was top notch. Kay at the front desk was extremely helpful by making suggestions of places to visit and ways to maximize our time in the area. When we first arrived she was in the process of handling something else, but she immediately stopped what she was doing to assist us without a second thought. Although I assured her we could wait, she made us a priority without making us feel like a burden. That experience set the tone for the our stay and every other person we encountered was helpful as well. I would stay here again.
When I say our family of 4 was impressed, that is an understatement. I was blown away by the spacious room. Traveling with kids we truly appreciated a full kitchen, eating area, and Drawers for storage! From checkin to complimentary breakfast everything about our stay was perfection. We have already shared our experience with friends back home and will definitely be returning in the future. Reasonable rates for what is included and a bonus for Tickets to the parks! Just phenomenal experience overall. Cleanliness and great location.
Great location. Rooms are spacious. Mattress SUCKS, The bathrooms need a deep cleaning. Mold growing. Also the floors are disgusting! They have a breakfast buffet but they have so many people staying with a small area with the actual buffet. It was a hot mess all weekend we never got to actually try the breakfast it was always a long line and staff couldnât keep up with having enough food out. That was disappointing. I suggest trying a new system for busy weekends like this weekend.
Hotel looks amazing. Rooms need a bit of refreshing. But nice. Pool was always packed. But the most annoying thing is. The WiFi went off at 10:00 PM and itâs currently 7:15 AM and itâs still off and tv runs off wifiâŠ.. so. The front desk told me itâs the weather⊠I see some clouds and blue skiesâŠ. I donât know whatâs going on.
This hotel is simply not cared for by the owners. They are content to take your money and provide a deeply negative experience in return. The whole building smells of mildew, and the room we had had black mold visible all throughout the room. Our AC unit could barely cool the room and was dripping condensation. The furniture in the room looks like it has been through a war. Every surface is scratched, dented, or nicked. The carpets are filthy. The beds do not have protective covers, and the sheets and blankets are thread bare.
After seeing the deplorable state of the hotel, we opted not visit the pool since we questioned the hygiene based on the neglected state of the property.
The hotel was barely staffed, and when the building lost power on the first night of our stay, we received no communication from the hotel in any way, even after the event. I had to wander the halls in the darkness looking for an staff member to ensure there wasnât a greater emergency in play. When I found the employee, they told me that they were going to notify guests, but decided not too because it would be too much effort.
If you are headed to this area, find a different property to stay at. Twenty years ago, our family stopped patronizing Marriott properties due to negative experiences like this and began to stay exclusively at Hilton properties since Hilton will refund customers if they do not provide the promised quality. Our time at this Marriott property has renewed our commitment to remaining devoted Hilton customers. This hotel should be stripped of its Marriott brand. The fact that corporate has not done this shows that Marriott has absolutely no commitment to their customers and just wants your money without delivering on their promises.
