  1. I am a frequent customer of this location and they have always been super nice and pleasant. Today I witness a guest who was way out of line and made me realize what they have to deal with! The teenage girl I saw while I was waiting to try on some clothes was trying to return old dirty leggings and the manager told her that if she can’t resell them, she can’t take them. Now I don’t know about you, but if I’m shopping, I don’t want to buy used, dirty leggings so that makes sense. The girl walked off saying calling the manager names and saying that she should be able to return them even thought they’re worn. I was still shopping when some old, disheveled lady came in asking why she can’t return old leggings and complaining that she washed them wrong. Now to me, that sounds like user error, not the store’s fault. I know I shouldn’t dry my lulu leggings so it isn’t surprising that they have washing and drying instructions. This lady went off and was calling the manager and all the employees liars. She really embarrassed herself in an attempt to embarrass the store and made it unpleasant for the other customers and she called her own daughter fat
who does that?! The manager was able to keep her composure way better than I would have been able to! And the other employees just kept working and were very helpful to me and my daughter! Great customer service!

  2. I generally do not enjoy writing reviews, but I had an unpleasant experience at the aerie store. My daughter purchased two pairs of leggings – one she wore a few times and found to be very linty. She assumed it was due to my laundry soap and bought another pair a week ago, only to experience the same issue. When she tried to return them, the lady at the store was very rude When she tried to return them, she was met with lady from the store the manager who said there was no reason to return them as they had been stretched out. My daughter felt body shamed, I went into the store to address the situation politely, as I couldn’t afford to spend money on poor quality leggings. The manger who was super unprofessional accused my daughter of calling her a derogatory name, despite my daughter not using that language. She is not disrespectful and I apologized for the misunderstanding, but there was clearly a mistake. My daughter is not disrespectful, as she doesn’t even talk back to me. So when she made a claim like that, I was skeptical. I still apologized, though, and told her that she needed to apologize as well. I went out of the store to get my daughter so she could apologize. Once back inside, the lady said she didn’t need an apology and started gossiping with her coworkers and the security guard like they were seriously all in a circle we totally felt ganged up on! I asked her please do not to call my daughter a liar, and she responded saying that I was calling all of them liars. All of them heard it, but my daughter insisted that if you check the cameras, they were not even present. There was only one coworker nearby, and she did not call her a derogatory term. The woman refused to give me her name. After speaking with several individuals, it seems that many agree that the girls in there are extremely impolite. This issue needs to be addressed, as I am willing to escalate this matter with legal action if necessary. My daughter was literally shaking. I had just lost some family members not too long ago and I’ve been dealing with a lot of health issues so dealing with this today was extremely stressful and hard on me. I wanted to cry and my daughter did cry when she left the store she felt super sad and said mom I don’t ever want to go there again I would never call someone that word and I said I know I believe you. In my heart of hearts I believe her she wouldn’t lie to me! I will be contacting the mall and I already contacted security. There is a lot of high school mean girl vibes. You guys lost me as a customer and I will put the word out ! Please understand me when I say I tried to resolve the issue I didn’t want my money back I didn’t want a discount I just wanted the truth I will take a stand for truth ! I would hope that the culture you guys are building would be founded on respect and honesty because in my household that is a big deal the manager even said she had 6 kids and they she know they act another way around other well my daughter doe’s not I teach healthy values and have to have integrity. I’m sorry this is so long but I cannot let another person get bullied the way they did ! Please do better !

  3. Had the worst experience here, I’m 17 years old and im very Anti social, so going shopping isn’t my favorite, but I was wanting to take back leggings from there, I bought one a little while ago and there was so much lint on it the first time I washed it, I thought it was just a problem with the laundry soap I was using so I bought another pair because I really did like them before the wash, so after I bought the other pair it still got extremely linty and I’ve only wore those once, and so when I went to return them, I went with my mom and she was at another store at the moment, so she was not with me, the lady told me that I cannot return the items because they looked very worn and wasn’t able to return either of them, I wasn’t to mad about it because I get it I washed it and it’s on me, so I said “okay thanks anyway”, those where my exact words and mind you she was very rude, saying how it looked stretched out and I definitely wore them over 3 times and mind you I am not the super skinny so for her telling me there all stretched out hurt my feelings, so as I was walking out I told my sister who was with me how she seemed rude and I also said “ she’s trying to make me feel all big lol” as a joke while I was walking out, and so I told my mom I wasn’t able to return them and she was confused why because the last pair I bought where only washed not unused, so she went in there and asked politely why she couldn’t take it back , and I was waiting outside, and she said to my mom “are you talking about the girl who called me a b word ?” And my mom was very confused and said if my daughter did say that I apologize and she brought me in there with them and I told them that I did not call her that because I would never call an adult a b word for no reason, there was a group of six co workers surrounded us all saying I said it, and I felt extremely stressed and ganged up on for doing absolutely nothing, I will never go back to that store ever again and I do not recommend it to anyone

  4. Very poor customer service. I was trying to return an online purchase and the manager/ team lead immediately jumped on me. Super rude! When I asked for her name to fill out the survey she REFUSED to provide it. Stated they are “NOT REQUIRED” to provide it. She’s going to learn the hard way that her “title” means NOTHING! It’s all about how you treat people. Even her associates looked at her like they were used to her attitude. Disappointing.
