Please…please don’t stay at this hotel…if I can call it that. Even if you want to save money….go someplace else. It is very difficult to describe this poor, run-down place since I have never been in a tacky place like this in my life and I am 68. It seems like it hasn’t EVER been updated…..the building needs painting as well. There were old and dirty carpets along the hallways and mildew on the worn drapes and the strong smell of what I assume was the cleaning products irritated my eyes so badly I could not even stay in the room for 5 minutes. Everything was old and dilapidated and the size of the deluxe king was smaller than advertised. Don’t be misled by the pictures online….nothing like the real thing. The place should be torn down. There was a homeless man sleeping on a bench by the entry door when we left….which was as soon as they refunded our payment.
It is an eyesore in a beautiful classy city surrounded by modern well kept hotels

We don’t know if things worked in the room because we were out of there almost immediately!
We demanded our money back and thankfully they refunded the one night charge.
Don’t stay there! I wouldn’t be surprised if they have bedbugs also since everything else was so tacky. Didn’t stay long enough to find out.
Okay. This place is awesome! And the price you can not beat this close to the beach. Lupe and Leslie are top notch staff with a big smile. Our room was clean and the a/c was cold. I came with my daughter 13 and son 25. We felt safe.
All was fine. Only thing was the desk clerk. Seems we got there while on his 10minute break. Was around 10pm and an empty lobby. Room was paid for all we needed was room keys.Guest check in is a quick process. Should’ve checked us in, gave us the room key and continued his paid 10 minute break. Anyway, seems like customer service is not top priority. Im sure any other time, it’s different. Keep in mind, my rating reflects my own experience.

Good location, close to many restaurants, fast food and shopping plazas. Complementary breakfast with waffle machines, yumm!. Good size rooms and nice staff. The staff was great and helpful. 15 minutes from manhattan beach pier and 8 min to king harbor marina where you can have fresh seafood at quality seafood.
